This Bhatura Was Bigger than MY FACE | Jaipur Food Vlog

Hello Hungryheads!
This was my first meal in Jaipur and it left me full and satisfied.

We started off with Chola Bhatura and this was the highlight of the entire breakfast. Too bad we couldn't get ourselves a second serving because there was still a lot more to be had.
I also loved the Raj Kachori to bits! It was filled with spicy potatoes and fresh chutneys. The sweet dahi around it and the crunch from the Kachori was a whole package of flavours!
The paneer ghevar was a new experience and so was the milk phini. There were other items too that we tried, some of which were great but the others, not all that impressive.

Mohita welcome to my hometown. LMB is a hotel with a great tradition. It started in the 1950s and introduced many new foods in a then very traditional Jaipur. They used to have lodging facilities as well. They used to encourage vegetarianism before being vegan become popular. This is the only place in the city where ghewar is available all the year around. Otherwise it is seasonal. LMB also has an awesome Rajasthani thali, besides some great sweets

Hi Mohita, LMB is iconic it's not only one of the oldest sweet shops in Jaipur but they are a brand. My mom did her PhD from Rajasthan university in the 70's so she said sweets bought from LMB were considered very upmarket. Now I feel they have lost a bit if there charm competing with the market & names like Haldirams
