I like that in explaining how his rich grindset prohibits him from changing the oil in his car, "because it isn't worth his time", he is explaining the logic of capitalism. Some people have to do the jobs which enable rich people to live their lifestyle, and these people are paid a lot less than others because their work is valued differently. For rich people to succeed, they must be able to save their own time by offloading work 'beneath them' to a lower class. Inequality is built right into this system and the guy is too thick to see it in his own analogy. This isn't a guide to getting rich which everyone can use, it's a guide on how to seek more oppurtunities to exploit people and stand on their shoulders.

And they take on those justifications from people like Dan even though they know for sure that they don't hold up to any scrutiny. They spend a lifetime trying to run from the guilt and in the end this machine has taken humanity from the rich and time (only time if they're lucky) from the poor. The Abraham cult gets even creepier when you look into it. From Wikipedia: According to Esther and Jerry Hicks, "Abraham" consists of a group of entities that are "interpreted" by Esther Hicks. Abraham has described themselves as "a group consciousness from the non-physical dimension". They have also said, "We are that which you are. You are the leading edge of that which we are. We are that which is at the heart of all religions." Abraham has said through Esther that, whenever one feels moments of great love, exhilaration, or pure joy, that is the energy of source and that is who Abraham is.

I really like that boy boyboy does actual commentary, not just goofy videos (which I love don't get me wrong) but they talk about legitimate things, like the homeless video or the covid video, they always have a legit opposite side and it's just amazing

I would really love to write a long philosophical comment about the cancerous nature of capitalism, but i've just realized that this is what poor people do, so i will have someone else write that comment for me.

Man I used to genuinely watch that guy a few years ago. Wasn’t good for my 15 year old brain man. Luckily I didn’t pay for any of his books or corses. It’s not necessarily idiots watching this kind of stuff. I think a big part of his audience are young people that just find the idea of working a job for 8 hours a day for 40 years depressing and scary. That is exactly who I was.

I'm happy to have been born just early enough to not have these scammers influence me as a kid. Sadly still depressed and scared trying to even GET the 40 hours a week... Nobody told me I had to fight others to become another cog in the machine. >_>

tbh i like this channel at least as much as i did a thing. Would love more videos like the arms convention and the covid restriction videos, this is just the kind of political content I miss on youtube! Since it's either video essays or activist group pr. Something like this that sits on the edge between satire, activism and entertainment is just awesome

Whenever I've talked to rich people it really does seem like they can't comprehend that their success is the result of luck and exploiting others, and so they come up with stuff like "i know how to give handshakes in juuuuuuuuust the right way"
