17:13 was perfect. A _thing_ bursts out of a hill, soars into a wall, the player screams and stumbles away, and when he turns back around it's gone. Too many horror games have never lived up to this one organic jumpscare.

If you imagine the third person POV of this, IGP crouch-walking across a completely open field to sneak up on the deer is actually high comedy in an otherwise completely horrifying game. This is such an interesting and original concept, after seeing a lot of the same old stuff recently it's so impressive and I can imagine actually playing it would be awful because you have *no* idea what's going on or what you have to be wary of. (I was sure the possums were going to turn evil at night...)

I love IGP, but saying he plays 'all the good games noone else plays' is kind of not true. Majority of content he plays, are stuff everyone else is playing right now. Phasmo and the other ghost hunting games he's played. In Silence, Fear and Fathom, Dead Space...he does mix in a lot of unknown stuff, but he's also playing A LOT of things other people are. He is what makes it entertaining and 'new'. Let's not ignore that for every hidden gem he plays, he checks out a mainstream title or something that's on the algorithm.

This game gave some 7 days to die vibes and the atmosphere was really interesting. That road during the dark had some real horror element, not being able to see anything is just terrifying. Would love to see more of like this type of survival from different devs.
