I’ve been looking for my go to stick since the all yellow TPS Response form my high school days in 2006. Ft7 is the first stick I’ve picked up where I noticed massive and immediate improvements. Shot feel balance etc. now I might buy buying this model till they go out of production. I like this still better than the Sync, Trigger 8, and Agent. All sticks I’ve used in the past year. Great job CCM!

Broke my ft7 pro after 3 games
@jeffmackin6844 ай бұрын
I've had two ft6 pros, since they were released roughly. First lasted maybe 3 months before I started getting some separation in the blade. The second one though has lasted much longer, about 7 months. That's playing/practicing 2-3 times a week. Love love love the stick. But It should be soon that it'll start breaking down, I'm already getting a little softness in the blade. Considering the ft7

At about 24:00 when you're discussing the differences in shooting between LX2 Pro and the FT7 Pro, it's a little unclear if you're saying that you prefer shooting with the FT7 Pro (my assumption) or the LX2 Pro. Regardless, love the content! Keep it up!

Sorry about that! I prefer the shooting with the FT7 Pro!

awesome. i am so hopeful for this stick. nothing shoots better than the jetspeed line since ft3. that being said i still find myself going back to the SYNC just for the puck feel and stick handling. i am hoping for the best of both worlds with this stick. hopefully you can do the Trigger 9 pro soon.

If you want to see the Trigger 9 Pro... that is where I suggest you let CCM know on social media!

@@HockeyReviews have you used a sync/tracer ? what are your thoughts on puck feel from ft7 pro to the sync? it just has to be close and i will be happy

Great video as always! By the way, the Helicoid industries website has some good info that helps explain what's different. Essentially, they're arranging the fiber layers of the carbon fiber in a helical pattern -- which is supposed to be better for energy absorption and impact strength. I think CCM should be able to have a range of blade feels with this technique, because they can pair it with different foam cores or no core at all. (From their website, looks like they might have a 6 year contract.) Excited to see it in hockey, I'd stumbled across them before and got interested because it was supposedly inspired by mantis shrimp.

What flex are you using and do you see a big difference when switching flex either up or down?
@HockeyReviewsАй бұрын
I always use 85 or 87 flex. Whatever the brand offers closest to that. But yeah changing flex is noticeable.

I don't have any plans for it unfortunately. If that is something you want to see I would recommend reaching out to Warrior on socials and let them know you want to see me review it!
