So hype that you guys are so hype. I had the same reaction as you guys did when i found them. I have been bored of music just in general for the last 5 years. Knocked loose poppy track got me interested in seeing what else is out there and I just searched "2024 metalcore" scroll scroll scroll, randomly clicked on kaonashi cuz album art looks raw and got immediately sucked in and now im obsessed. Completely blew me away and the lyrics to pretty much every song gives me the chills.

Saw Kaonashi a couple weeks back in Denver, what a show. The lyrics, the vocals. I felt the same way when i first heard this song. Got to sing "always in the bathroom, always in the kitchen" with him.

I love Kao so much. I found them a couple months ago and have listened to everything from them. Even the less hardcore stuff is so good. I’m excited for the next video and am curious about what will count as the latest song. 3 faces is the newest EP, so maybe Hourglass which I LOVE, but is very different and came out after this video. Excited anyway. Also I used to pronounce it at Kay-o-nashi, but in the videos they post Peter says Cow-nashi.

Idk what kaonashi means , assuming it's japanese, but I know kao (cow) means rice in Thai, kao (cow) means grilled in Chinese, so that (cow)nashi pronoucation tracks for me 😅

I suggest "Sarah and the Scraped Knee", all the "Exit I ~ IV" but my favorite Ep is the split EP "Never Home" with Sabella and "Ex Prayer" but their break out Ep was "Why Did You Do It". 💔 we love Kao

Hell yeah, Kaonashi is amazing. Their new EP absolutely rips. Their song “We Got One” off of it has a sick music video, and the song is insane. Y’all should check it out!
