I think the gun-parrying might be bugged/broken in the version you're playing in this video, Minkyman. Fortunately, it looks like the mod was updated to work with the latest version of Elden Ring (1.12.4, and they listed that the smithing menu issue and gun-parrying were both fixed).

the discord update log for this mod says that only the Hunter Pistol and Piercing Rifle have been fixed with the smithing bug! just to clarify :))

HEY I HAVE INFO ABOUT YOUR CRASHES. This started happening to me randomly and mostly during Elden Ring but it was because it was my most gpu intensive game. It caused me crashes and constant blue screens. I discovered it was because I had these fancy looking cables going from my GPU to my power supply. They were RGB LED extension cables. Basically they weren't providing enough power to my GPU due to the cabling inside not being exactly what was required. I was receiving much less voltage to my GPU and other chips than I needed so my PC would go into safeguarding thinking it was losing power and crash or blue screen. I took the extensions out and used the original cables and never had the problem since. So check that
