I believe character and arcana effects that cycle between things like the area one going between -25% and +25% ignore caps on the stats, so the character effect that makes the whip attack faster than it should cap out at is due to the character's abilities being considered separately, bypassing the cap as they are not considered in the limit calculation.

If I wanted to test all weaposn equally I probably would use Trouser, simply because he can get every weapon level 1 andwould give a good baseline. The problem comes with the dual/multi weapon evolutions, as they would take away power from silent sanctuary. On the other hand you DO NEED multiple weapons to evolve, so it comes around balanced in the end. My main gripe with Trouse is that he feels incredibly weak. This might just be me.

My main gripe with him is that these would be 20+ videos on the same character without any exciting difference, so these are rather meant for fun and I put them together because I did it once and people liked it (or I think it got requested to have it shown)

Without cheating anyway. If you wanted to mod the game and give every weapon its best chances, Queen Sigma solos! I don't mod my game but I really wanted to see if Queen Sigma could carry Tri-Bracelet. The banished level 1 Victory Sword did twice the damage of Tri-Bracelet. >_

I'm pretty sure a mixture of Bloody Tears and Thousand Edge are what managed to actually get me out of the hellhole that is stage 1 So many times getting filtered minute 8 i think it was, and if it wasn't that, it was the 12-13 werewolf rush Stage 3 on initial release wasn't anywhere near as frustrating as stage 1 to me, because the fact that you could evolve from the word go felt like a sort of limiter release on both the player, but also for difficulty of the game, like "no more baby shit ITS KILL OR BE KILLED"

I always feel like the doubled luck from wicked season doesnt affect the rarity of chests picked up. Has Someone done testing on this or know of someone who tested this? would be nice if anyone can confirm or deny(/dismiss?) my theory

Minnah Mannarah's special trait is completely separate from the stats on the left. On even minutes she has increased might and projectile speed, with reduced area, duration, and cooldown, while odd minutes are the reverse. I believe that it scales between -50% and +100%, and the way it scales means that at ##:30 your stats are normal.

Wouldn't a freeze help when you get enemies with high knockback? So on the ghost witch spawns you could kill more when you are just knocking them back. But when you can insta kill I'm guessing it doesn't matter.

When you take a freeze, you don't need to wiggle. The problem with the freeze, especially with screen-wide insta-kill weapons, is that the enemies that are frozen in the death animation stay at the spot they died at which is usually the spawn point, and potentially contribute to enemy count. If you just move over 1.5 screens away (so death-frozen enemies despawn), enemies will spawn and die normally despite the freeze taking effect. If you just move half a screen (so at least the death animation frozen enemies don't block new ones), you don't need to wiggle unless your weapon doesn't reach the edges of the screen.

You don't need to move that far away. You only need to to move a bit to a side which opens up empty space, they spawn and if you walk to the other side or keep walking, that space is empty as well. Frozen enemies disappear when they leave the spawn area, meaning walking and wiggling has the same effect

@@DexTag What I mean is after walking over 1.5 screens away and then standing still, you will get 100% of the kills you would've gotten without freeze. Just now I double-checked by recording and counting average kills per frame (on the same wave) without freeze, and with freeze after walking away. Walking just a bit away (so they're outside of the spawn zone but on your screen) still results in decreased spawn rate, probably because the game counts the frozen dying enemies against the spawn limit. As long as they're not in the spawn zone, standing still or wiggling doesn't make a difference, except that by wiggling you can put some corpses back in the spawn zone for a moment. Newly killed enemies don't have frozen dying animations, just the ones that are dying when the freeze starts.

@@Notivarg both scenarios have the same result All you need is cleared spawn area You do it by walking into one direction, I do it by walking to the left and then to the right Wiggling doesn't refer to just slightly tapping A/D, it moves a decent amount, roughly have a second each direction. Per movement we both create the same amount of empty space unless our movement speed would differ

@@DexTag @20:38 You admit the freeze (for its whole duration) cut down the amount of kills, so your wiggling didn't give the 100% kills it should at any point. That's because you left the frozen corpses on the right side of the screen, and with each wiggle you just moved them back into the spawning area. I'll concede that it's possible to clear the frozen enemies by going roughly half a screen in one direction and 1 screen in the other (assuming enemies despawn when they're more than 50% of the screen width beyond the edge) rather than 1.5 screens in one direction. The result is the same as far as distance goes, but you might have some stragglers left, and that's not what you showed in the video anyway. Half a second in each direction at base movement speed barely works, maybe with 2k eggs.

@@Notivarg It is impossible to get 100% kills. While testing gold farm builds on Queen and Trouser there was no method that would allow me to get even close to 100% kills, and they had 100% clears. I then tested it zoomed out (debug mode) and modded with Garlic having a couple 100k dmg and Area enough to cover 5 screens and you are crippled down by a lot. But here is a test: Lightning RIng with insta-kill at 500k% Curse, infinite health (-1) on library. Wave 1 will cap out and spawn it's maximum per spawn cycle, which is 300 (well, 301 but that's rather because of other issues) but due to Curse frequency increase it will pretty much perma-spawn them like crazy. Lightning Ring in 10 seconds: 4212 kills Lightning Ring in 10 seconds with freeze and no movement: 971 kills Lightning Ring in 10 seconds with movement to 1 direction: 2800 kills Lightning Ring in 10 seconds with wiggle movement: 1300 kills So I think it's safe to say whatever had that outcome is associated either to Cappella, circumstances or possibly movement speed.

In the code, if the clock updates every second after the stats get listed, you could also have the stats update every second. Also in the code for updating the stats, if clock[mm] returns Even it increases area and cooldown while decreasing might I’m going to write some code for this as a learning experience

at that point, candelabradour is probably superflous, and you could get away with something else like armour to make the overall run easier.

Keep in mind that character bonuses multiply weapon bonuses. With Candelabrador we have a 2.35 Area multiplier, without it it's a 1.85 multiplier, that's a difference of 22% less Area on the weapon At the end that is of course not needed anymore - though 22% is a big amount - but it leads to me killing the enemies faster which then results in more level ups which then results into more area etc., so it's not as simple as just removing 22% of the Area and calling it a day, but it also affects speed of scaling
