Yeah I'm on the side of last boat loses - unsafe behaviour shouldn't be rewarded. Having people hanging off the side makes the captain react differently - he knows he can't gun it and be responsible for the fool falling overboard and so nearly stuffs it. Deffo a loss.

While I agree that the guys suit was an infraction, I say that on close calls of stuff/no stuff, the deciding factor is whether you see water hit the windshield or center console. If that area avoids any slap, it's hard to rule it a stuffing (unless it is REALLY slow)

I find your judgement of failure and success to be an interesting one. Well designed boats can take on water, and shed it. Boats have various different classes based on their ability to handle different conditions on water. Did they make it? Perspective changes many things.

The second boat avoided the ordinary mistake of putting a heavy someone in the bow; but they did a proper stuff just the same. 5th round boat was a win by a whiskerr.

You know I own a boat and I'm not very experienced, At leaving heavy inlets. so it seems like you want your motor deep and your bow high and enough throttle to keep it up but not too much noted.

That last boat constitutes a stuffing because water streamed into the bow directly from the ocean. Not spray, but sea water flowing over the tip of the bow. Got stuffed! Minus points for the "anti-eye candy" swim suit. I need to watch an antidote to cleanse that image from my visual memory. Eww!
