This bottle attaches to your shoulder straps

Unless you've got really flexible shoulders, reaching round to bottle pockets without removing your pack can be a bit of a pain. This little tool from Fidlock allows you to attach their bottle to your rucksack shoulder strap or hipbelt for hydrating on the go.

This looks really good...have ordered...I often find I have to take my rucksack off to get my bottle out or sometimes it falls out of the basket. I was actually thinking of creating some system to attach my bottle (with a plastic tube) on the front of my straps, when serendipitously I found this video :-)

Interesting! I've also seen a hydration hose adaptor that screws onto the drink bottle top -- it looks so much easier to use than dislocating my elbows to get a water bottle out of the side pocket!

It can go on the hipbelt, shoulder strap or virtually any other strap luckily. Worth playing about with it until you find a comfortable position!

It's not as intrusive as you might first think. I use a similar tool to carry a full frame camera (much heavier and as long as this bottle) but located correctly you barely notice it. The convenience far outweighs any cons.
