Sometimes bad things just happen when your snowboarding in the terrain park. A box with a loose screw is one of the more common things you will see, Thankfully Mammoth Mountain and the unbound crew took care of me.

sucks about your board. really happy they took good care of you. they have a really great team there at mammoth. everyone there is pretty awesoma from the main lodge right up to museum on the top and the patrol in between. and a super special call out to the best lifties in the US. no offense to az snowbowl. you guys are number 2.

Snowbowl's policies make it way lower than #2 imo. I had a good time there, but compared to all other mountains I've been to, their policy of "no refunds, no exceptions, never" is brutal.

2:25 No locks? Only skied for a few years in the east. Vernon Valley, Camelback, & Hunter Mountain. They all had locking racks. I think snowboards were just becoming a thing then . If they have locking racks for skies there must also be the same for boards. Not worried about theft?

I've never seen locking racks. Been to Mammoth, some So Cal resorts, and AZ Snowbowl. Are they popular back east?

@@sketchyAnalogies - Yes, many thieves stealing whatever isn't nailed down. Even the poles lock into the racks. My ski's were old Rossingnols with bent up poles, locked up every time when hitting the lodge.
