Be interested to know the circuit topology of this one. I'm thinking it's maybe a Coloursound Power Boost/Overdriver with the added volume control. Something about the sound and the way the note blooms though makes me think maybe a FET transistor is involved somewhere

The problem is that Pete sounds great no matter what gear he uses, this makes it for use even harder to choose , in fact i bought the BudiG and I didn’t like it , sitting on the shelf ever since , to compressed to my taste and this is in general besides the fuzz a Vemuran issue IMO
@nilesanders511011 ай бұрын
Agreed, Joe is interpreting EV where Pete nails it. Pete, they would likely be interested. You could have your people talk to their people.
@bcjaliu10 ай бұрын
The JB archer sounds a bit more articulate and thinner in the mids in a good way, to me. It fixes that mid bloat that I hear in Klons as the gain starts to engage. I have a J Rocket Rockaway “Archer” and I’m always dialing down the 400 and 800hz to thin it out in the mids.

Too much, I picked mine up for $250 from my local mom and pop in mint condition. Be patient, at $375 it's not worth it unless you plan on looking at it as an investment. They are ridiculously expensive but they hold their value 100% and in most cases if you do sell one off you'll make a few dollars.
