I picked one up in the USA. Optioned to $86,000 USD MSRP. No carbon kit, no dynamic+(no need for it on US highways) but pretty much every other option available on the USDM version. Love it as a daily driver. Normally drive it in all dynamic mode or custom, all dynamic with comfort suspension(US roads suck).

Base price is £64k on the road, I've spec'd one at £77k with enough goodies. But you can spec an S5 for £20k less, which I think is a great option. The S models are beginning to get a lot better.

It is too expensive! I own a '14 RS5 and love it, but bought it used with 15k miles on it for 50k (extended warranty blah blah) and that still is a little high for that car, but the going rate. Love the grey paint, new virtual cockpit and quilted seats. Would of liked to see the high rev v8 still in it because it is so fun to to wind the older one out. In the 14 and with this one I still feel like the exhaust should be more menacing then they are. Match the sound to how awesome the car looks!

I'd be happy if in Finland I'd get a car like that for that money. And since most seem to be upset about the price - that Bang & Olufsen sound system was over 10.000€ option. Quality is never cheap. You can buy a fake diamond for 50€ or some diamond for 1.000€ or a good quality diamond for 15.000€ and to someone they'd all look the same. If the cockpit was filled with diamonds, the car would cost even more, and still have 2.9L V6.

It is an absolute marvel or engineering and this car really does have a lot in common with Lamborghini (doh!) but this is just an incredibly insane amount of money to pay for essentially a car that you can buy for £36k, admittedly it will be an A5 but still the shape is identical. You are better off buying something exclusive like an R8 even if it is slightly used. The depreciation rate is also incredible. I had a look and you can pick up a decent slightly used 2017/2018 RS5 on autotrader for around £56-60k, the depreciation is insane!

Because you dont understand that S and RS is the racing versions of the car? You can ride on a cloud OR press the "race mode" and have a "every day supercar". Supercar might is a bit much... but it is a every day car that has a lot of power... that is why it is so expensive. Well not really. Of all the great Audis in recent years this is the least enjoyable. The steering is direct but doesn't feel natural at all, the sound is.. well there is none. In dynamic mode the suspension is just bullshit far to hard doesn't feel natural. One can only enjoy the RS5 in individual. In any way the F80 M3 is just better apart from the immediate thrust!

The Giulia comes close. It has 510 hp, like the C63 AMG S. It's as nimble as an M3 (or even better) and it looks better than any of its competitors (subjective, I know). The only thing is the sound. While it sounds miles better than this RS5 nothing in this price range beats or comes close to the AMG.

It's exactly where it should be priced. It's 50k cheaper than a 911 4S with a better interior and more options. RS5 is a beast of a car, AWD, luxury, 1/4 mile at 11.7...wtf else do you want? Snow, gravel and rain and dry..and looks amazing.

Yeah the C63 and M3/4 aren't much cheaper when loaded! And yes you can get many USED cars for that price or new ones with dealer discount.. the 93k is the price form Audis website.. And the V6 should be much much faster than the previous n/a V8 because the previous model didn't have 450hp, on paper yes but on dyno most had good 400-420

ah fck man. should have watched the video first... the interieur looks like shit again. that display alone is just a shame. It looks like someone just put it there after designing everything inside. Damn it.. From the outside it's even with the M4 (depending on taste) but the interieur is so bad again...sad

It costs 93k, because of the looks, not because you get more bhp/torque or anything like that. You can buy the regular rs5 for 30k less and still have the exact same car - hardware wise and of course without the ceramic brakes... And by the way, that particular rs5 is called "carbon edition" for a reason, lol...

P.S the ridiculous thing about that car is, you can actually buy it for 60k, go to abt and for ~40k you will get one hell of a beast - look wise and performance wise as well

it's on auto trader this exact car for 66k now, price has dropped significantly but for 66k I would love this car and spec. I just don't have the money.

One thing I hate about car manufacturers these days is sticking a tablet on top of the dash almost as an afterthought. It would look a lot better if they integrated it into the dash.

Damn cheap if you compare it with the prices here in holland. If you buy it here with the same spec i think it costs arround 170.000 EUR.
