@@GOTGames Another think I wanted to say that I forgot to point out, is how beautiful it is that Dimple initially thinks "carrying this Broccoli with telekinesis is impossible.." but he then does what seemed impossible, and even goes a step further to yeet it into space. All to protect Mob.

So that scene where you thought Dimple had shed a tear, I’m pretty sure that’s what the light represented. I don’t think Dimple as a spirit can cry (or at least in his God Dimple form) so the light shining off him like that was basically him shedding a tear.

the ost in this episode is called “a world without ekubo” and it’s probably among the most emotional tracks ive seen in anime. with how dimples normally only appear when you smile i feel like you could also interpret the name as a world without smiles.

Honestly the animators went hard here. I cried at the manga, steeled myself, cried watching the anime. Then hey I've joined you crying again, this episode gets me everytime. This episode, the finalle, and these full circle character arcs are some of the reasons i rank this my fav anime of all time

I can't praise dimple's VA enough. Like I'm sure he could have made some screams that sounded cool and perfect, but instead they let him scream his lungs out, keeping every bit of his voice cracking, no matter how "ridiculous" it could sound

A (not so) fun fact! In the manga, the part where Mob says that "Dimple was his friend" at the end was said originally said by the narrator. But because Dimple's voice actor is also the narrator in the anime, Mob directly says that line in his stead.

From 20:39 to 21:30 was for sure animation done by Yutaka Nakamura, one of the best animators from Bones (animation studio of Mob Psycho 100) and almost of the whole animation industry. His fights are all insane in every aspect. About this chapter, what Dimple does for Mob and how the last goodbye is done, is brilliant and devastating. For things like this, Mob is for me the best work of ONE (the original creator).

I love that Dimples' yelling feels genuine like you can here that he is struggling rather than those weird "power up" shouts most shounen animes do with the echo filters. Another great one is Erwin's Battlecry when they fought Zeke is AOT S2, bro got a voice crack but still held on to that shout for a few seconds longer
