While these cards can make rogue better..... They also enable the already meta decks to have yet another easy way to be uninterruptible. We just banned Apollousa for being able to put up generic negation and here's yet another easily splashable engine that insulates your plays from handtraps. Dark Magician needs actual support to stand a chance.

You could always splash in the kash package of Fenrir, unicorn and birth if you want you can use the field spell as well

The Azamina cards can be used by a ton of decks, like Branded. Any deck that can summon a lot of generic fusions would be very stupid to not use the Azamina engine.

Dark Magician, nah, the deck is resource negative and notoriously the most fragile core in the game. Azamina is going to be amazing, but not like that. It's just so good that it can make a win condition-less core out-resource anybody who allows the deck to play. What's really real is the White Forest synergy that's gonna top off those pot of greed plays better than most other cores would for the Azamina engine.

​@@EliDSagefor most decent end boards in dark magician, you need to use multiple cards to put a few cards on board. To get the dragon knight + eternal soul combo, the cheapest way is to use an out of archetype normal summon (such as chamber dragonmaid) and play eternal soul while dark magician or a searcher are in your hand. This is a three card combo that gives you a 3000 atk monster with effect protections that can be resurrected once every turn. To put things into perspective, @ignisters are considered rouge despite having multiple one card combos that end on more negates than the opponent has cards in hand.
