Things i would change: - instead of the bristleback i would use iboga. Thats cause the f2 melted is stronger and punishes removal/buttonsmash instandly. Also outside of melt that pet can pull one player and put again a field. If timed correct the player dodges out of your field and is instandly pulled again ;) - you combo is on a 25 sec cd, cause of bird. Means you can either change the formular so that ability is on 20 sec cd via petmaster or if its stays there you should put the bleed kritt instead of the cd of your trap cause the cripple doesnt do the cut. So the only real reason behind that skill is your healtrap. The bigger swap with to beastmastery would be: up, up, mid. The damage should still be around the same, esp cause of quickness and cause carrion amulet (you dont need the critt but the pure damage also helps on the leech).. maybe the damage is even higher cause superspeed helps the pet to hit, but till today anet has no option to show that damage. But play it the way you feel more confortable :)

8:55 after all this spectacular impressive performance by muk (and never dying in the process so far) his team is still behind the red team. one thing is certain, the reds are very good at their game edit: when the match ended muk provided 44.2% of his team's damage. plus top healing and most kills ofc. very impressive indeed

Primal Cry has been busted for a while, especially with the trait Beastly Warden in Beast Mastery that adds taunt to pet skills. On SB, it taunts everyone it hits in PvP and WvW, making them run at you and auto attack, disabling everything but stun breaks for two seconds (or more depending on expertise). Combined with Vulture, Dolyak, and Bear stances, it's always been an insanely powerful skill. My personal favorite combo with it is Dolyak and Vulture, Primal Cry into Bonfire (torch 5), and a winter's bite (axe 3) for added chilled and weakness. Vulture applies a ton of poison on this as well.

It's a fantastic build! I'm a Condi Soulbeast fan so i'm definitely going to use this build. My only suggestion is.. swap dagger off-hand to torch? simply because of much better cleave capabilities and all round damage.

While true, the dagger 4 evasion followed by high poison damage (and we have poison traits) were the reasons I took it. Helped keep me alive in many fights. (That said, the torch would be fun for aoe when you aren't under pressure)

I have a suggestion. How about switching your bristleback for jungle spider? it has a 3s immob skill, ranged aoe poison skill (as well as primal cry) i find it better.

Vallun has a variation on that build there months old. I've been using it, though, and it's pretty awesome. I'll look at the differences, might lean more toward your traits/stats, we'll see

I've been thinking of dagger & off-hand torch to go with it. I wonder how well it does.. Bonfire is a really good skill for cleaving down downed enemies in a small spot.

In raids/strikes/fractals it would all come down to the damage per second. So you could take a previously used condi soulbeast, add this to it, and see what happens to the numbers.

For that kind of build I'm guessing you would use condition damage gear stats.

What about torch axe instead of shortbow for more aoe conditions?

Shortbow benefits more from all the poison damage we are stacking, plus offers an evade (3) immobilize (4) and stun (5) plus more range. Although axe/torch isn't bad I don't think it would be worth taking with the poison bonuses in this build.
