Just testet pale order with combat metrics. it does not proc from status effects and procs. It does not proc from ele drain or wrath of the elements. It does proc from direct dmg and it does proc from the bloodcraze dot, so i assume it does proc from dots that you inflict by abilities.

I'm playing a mag sorc high elf for 5 years now and ive come to the opinion that mag sorc high elf is weak af or im doing something very wrong i dunno, ive tried everything, mythic items, complete heal back bars, monster sets literally everything and nothing works..... As soon as some dk, nightblade, warden, tempalr or any other melee toon starts slashing at me im dead within 3 sec no matter how many heals or buffs i got on me and its strange because my stats look pretty good 🙄🤷‍♂

Yes thrive of chaos has been known by a lot of players for a while a now as the dmg increase looks great on paper people tend to forget the ultimate also says it increases the dmg for the duration! Now if somone cleanses the dot from the ulti that dmg buff you get is also removed from you because the ulti has to be up since its duration based. Pretty sure this was tested a long time ago. 😅

I used engine guardian, was surprisingly good just for how much damage it eats and you can make use of any resource you get. I also tried bloodspawn and 2 one pieces for recovery, each had their own benefits.

Why? 66 is 1% crit mitigation. 1650= 25%. Compare tooltip sturdy horn: "...You and your allies gain 1320 Critical Resistance for 10 seconds, reducing incoming Critical Damage by 20%." Im running and experimenting with this build since some time too, in the meantime im running orders wrath and no masters + Pariah, no mythic. Pls test Pale order with a log eg metrics, im convinced the heal is only for your direct dmg, no dots etc...

Because of the formula the more things go into the equation the weaker it gets and thats why stacking resistance is so strong. Crit res i guess even more because there is only ONE pool for crit resistance, you do not add up the single piles...

@@callumterblanche1491 It's quite literally the same since launch, from Uesp: Percentage Reduction = (Critical Resistance / [player level, capped at 66]) The Percentage Reduction is subtracted from the attacker's Critical Damage bonuses. For Example: Without any bonuses to Critical Damage, an attacker would have a 1.5 Critical Damage bonus. If you have a full set of Impenetrable body armor in gold quality, for 258 * 7 = 1806 Critical Resistance, on a CP160+ character this comes out to 1806 / 66 = 27.4% Percentage Reduction. This comes out to (1.5 - 0.274) = 1.226 Critical Damage multiplier for incoming damage. In other words, a 1000 damage hit that would normally do 1500 upon critical strike will now only do 1226 damage upon critical strike to the Resistant target (a 22.3% reduction in incoming damage from that Critical Strike). Critical damage resistance 66 = 1% Critical Damage Reduction.
