That's why it doesn't need much ammo, I put machineguns and lasers on top of it. The 2 UAC20's don't give any better effect of using one UAC20 because it cost speed but it's fun to use even if the mech itself falls apart with light armor.

It is funny, this Hunchie was equal parts feared and hated in TT, it had paper thin armour but had (potentially) x4 more damage than a "normal" Hunchback. Absolutely horrifying for a 50-tonner.

This showcase, particularly the first match, is why I'm glad I landed on this channel first when getting into BT and MW5: the complete and utter lack of toxicity (and in fact, so much humility that the streamer can compliment when they've just been outplayed) while still projecting the right amount of competitive aggression all wrapped in informative (for newbies like myself to this world) commentary. I've been running the Grid iron IS hunchie hero mech with a UAC20 and 2 small lasers. Light engine for 82kph. When the cannon decides to behave and not jam on every pull of the trigger, it is an absolute monster, provided you don't get isolated.

I've tried the 2xUAC20 Hunchy before, and it feels amazing being a nutcracker/can opener, but also the range does not help it. Swapped over to 4xLB2X's and feels a lot for my style. I much prefer the massive suppresive fire you can throw out. That said, I'll probably pop into this build every so often for some super heavy hitting times :D

Yeah, then it would be in the news coz someone did a school shooting with it. But you're right, they'd build something like this if they could get it approved by the different corporations or congress/senate etc. Not that Muricah needs more guns. They don't seem to have solved ANY issues for them so far. I sound anti american, and to an extent I am. I hate their government system and how little value america puts on her citizens. But, I do love her people as individuals. They're awesome people

With the XL 200 you are forced to use 2 external Heatsinks to reach the 10HS minimum :)

lol, Thanatos killing half your team and you still out scored him! Pity your team couldn't hear you for what ever reason, you guys could have won that first match. They basically had a war general on their team and didn't/couldn't use him. Also, I have one of these. So much fun. I'm not as good a pilot as you Bara, so I swap out a ton of ammo for some jump juice. She makes a helluva pop tart! Also, how do you get 1 team damage with those guns?

Having grown up with Mechwarrior books as my introduction to mechs and their lore it was always explained that majority of the heat build up was from the power draw from the reactor from firing a weapon. That is why energy weapons cause so much more heat than say ACs or missiles which draw almost no energy to fire. So why do in MWO and MW5 do ACs and missiles generate so much heat? Is it like that in the tabletop game rules? I know super nerd question but always been curious.

Lore wise it's not consistent, that's true. Gameplay wise, if ACs or missiles generated "true" heat, nobody would use lasers and all you'd see would be dakka and missile boats spamming shots non-stop and becoming unbeatable and uncontested. It's a way of "leveling the field" (balancing) and trying to make all weapon systems have their pros and cons. For instance, Gauss Rifles have next to 0 heat but take forever to reload, so there's a tradeoff. MWO introduced "ghost heat" to avoid stacking multiple similar weapons (or weapons that work together) to deter such usage and builds, like the B33f's Direstar.

Love the Hunchback IIc in Clan Wolfish Colors Bara. The issue with MWO right now, everyone is using ER Large, and Large Lasers all the damn time. It's super boring, annoying etc. 85-90% of the players are equipped with them, cause Meta says so... So lame... I refuse, and still get stuff done. I wish more people would forget Meta, and just use weapon combos that are original...

... how is it possible to deal 2 points of team damage and get a team kill, when you only have UAC 20's? At close range? How is it possible to deal less than, say, 6.67 points with a single shell (assuming it's a 3-shot, etc) How do the mechanics of that work?

if you drop the leg armor to around 30 you can go up to 76 kph with this build if you get the speed tweak, totally worth it in my opinion, additionally if you drop a ton of ammo for it you can also go up to 81 kph which i would say is probly the fastest not really assault mech i have ever seen :D

It's great in the tabletop, too, since when you Jump you can land facing any direction you want, whereas it costs 1 movement point to turn one hex face. So 1 jump point to move 1 hex and land facing any direction, vs ??? movement points to turn and face a direction, move one space, and turn to face whatever direction you need. Definitely worth.
