This guy is fantastic! He has the great old school mentality...why buy when you can repurpose!! Great build. He needs to start a you tube channel of what you can find & converted into something for these bus/van builds. You dont need to spend $100,00 grand to build out a school bus (like so many do which is crazy) to get your exploring started. WOW!!!Now this is a great build!!!! Looks really nice. He doesnt have to be paying for it the rest of his life.😊 The new RV's have to much electrical and go in the shop at least once a month if not more. He knows evey inch of his rig if it needs anything. Good for him!🤗🤗🤗

As a person with a stringent budget but would like to 'get the h*ll out of dodge'/get on the road without selling body parts to do so, these types of videos/ideas are valuable and appreciated. As I've told my kids, I'm to the point of throwing a cot in the back of a skoolie and leaving; it doesn't have to be fancy.

The air conditioner is a good idea. I would consider putting brackets under the air conditioner on the outside, so even though it leans back to drain the water, you don’t have to worry about it moving.

There’s no room under the a/c. The rear door needs to open, I attached heavy metal brackets through the a/c case and bolted them to the bus frame it’s extremely secure. 👍

Great build it is crazy that bus builders want $40,000 or more for a built-out small school bus. Two of his biggest expenses were the fridge and solar power both of which are very nice, but could be done later if your budget was extra tight.

Yes it needs shore power, it can be run off a small generator. It meets one of the requirements for New York State rv conversion , independently heat or AC system.
