I'm mad that GL is giving this vaporware of a car all the king treatment. Usually game makers pay the car manufacturers for licensing a certain car, but here I bet the exact opposite happened. Not even F1 has sunk this low for oil money

The car stats shouldn’t be based on “how real they are”, the terzo asterion torodion are pure concept shells without an actual engine or motor in their chassis; those concepts perform the way they are in this game because people want to see how they perform if the claimed performances are true

@@crescentfall2098 the thing is, none of these shell cars received the king treatment that Devel is having. Devel IRL was never advertised to have a good handling, yet in this game, its basically hax. What's happening is, all the previous king cars that actually have some IRL credibility, are losing their value. The other shell cars didn't cause this level of harm

@@famingo4363 none of any other cars in this game claimed to have 5000hp you gotta be aware of that, neither F5 or devel claimed to have good handling in life, me as well would have loved if the devel handles stiff just so the game has more variety and it’s more fun to see those, they handle like that because the nature of the physics in this game, cars with those much horse power lift off their wheels while turning in this game, that’s what caused them to have weird handling

This car is what the Vulcan is to Asphalt 8, completely better in every way and paving the road to the parabolic power creep that followed. This is probably the end, only if its drift radius gets severely nerfed to somewhat salvage any semblence of balance

The Devel does feel like I was playing the older Asphalt titles. I know this car will be even more insane on Switch next year. I did had fun driving the Bolide and the Venom F5 because I love the way it feels when you hit 300+ mph. Sadly, I couldn’t progress in DS6 due to the 9x8 packs only giving 60/70. I did bought 8 blueprints from the syndicate market. So as much as I pains, my 3* Tushek now means nothing but I’m still using it in MP. So I hope a Year if the Beast for the Bolide can happen maybe in the future years.

Hey Marf, great video and races. I personally have unlocked this car at 3 stars now. I love how the car able to maintain high speed even during drifts so floaties is not required. I don’t think this will break the game much since there is only a small percentage of players will have it just like Venom during it’s debut. I’m just worried that the no air speed issue and poor acceleration is not intended and will be fixed since this is an expensive car to get.

I am a less experienced player and certainly won't be getting a Devel 16 anytime soon - too bad - but, can say that in the events I have been allowed to drive a maxed one in, it is a wonderful car although takes some work and technique to get good results with it. I haven't had a ny of the issues, once speeded up, that Marf, you have referred to - I have found it simply does everything well once the technical/finesse aspect is worked out. I play Windows 11 TD, because I need to drift and my computer doesn't manually, so switched, and am in top 10% in the free try competition, and can say it took a while to get there because had to figure out how to get higher evel performance from it. It can be work. In your vid, in Himalayas, you have a 1:04.7. In a multiplayer race with a maxed, free try (I'm pretty sure ot was a) Rimac Nevera, I got a 1:06.6 on the same track. I like the Nevera and finally was getting it sorted out. I don't have one of those either. That is an example of a much less experienced player beoing almost competitive with a 'lesser' car. Other times I have blown the same track in MP and ended up way slower, even with a good car, at a total snail 1:14.4, with so many late-race errors that only a full crash would have made it even worse - hahaha. Good vid and review. Note: for those who find the accel. lacking, the speeds that can be generated, like I found with the Saleen S7, can compensate nicely. I agree that it is a great car and one should get it if they can. On will it change the game alot, I say 'not really' because there have always inequities between cars and some simply have much faster cars, and it will probably always be that way.

Don't think it really breaks the meta. It's extremely expensive to get, plus it requires skill to drive. Keeping it at around 550 km/h is quite tough. So I'm not really afraid it will be really that problematic. I guess the same happend when the Jesko was added, which was almost 50 km/h faster than any car in the game at the point. I suspect the Jesko Absolut will come at some point, which is now already in A9 China with a top speed of around 550 km/h or so. I don't think there a lot more real world candidates though.

I don‘t get this whole „it breaks the game meta“ bla bla that is circling around. It‘s the king of the game, very hard to get and possibly the last of this kind. As long as i can‘t drive through walls it‘s just the fastest car. Nothing broken here … except the physics of the devil 😂
