Thanks you for this video of one of the most beautiful Lancia ever, and the passion you share on this brand. To make it (too) simple Alfa had the best engines and lines, but Lancias were "better" for more complex reasons, there masses were best balanced, they had the most clever chassis and engineering, the finish was better and they were better to drive. Kind of Mercedes? Yes but sportier and more balanced with more sportiness and road feel. The Flaminia was a brilliant car, the Zagatos made them sportier, lighter, with less comfort, and with a fabulous line, especially this last serie. Ferrar were in another category had race pedigrees and were much more expensive and powerful, sometimes too much and not very well fished. Lambos had striking design and a fabulous engine, they are hard to drive, that's fun now but that shows how they were not completely developped and engineered. And the finish was terrible, really worse than anything you can imagine, they are much better now restored. For the gentleman there were Aston Martin and Maseratis,beautiful and super luxurious (I'm a sucker for vintage Maseratis) but a bit heavy. The Lancia were perfectly balanced, quite less powerful but overengineered and beautifully finished. People expected more power at the price but they had other qualities. This Flaminia Supersport is to die for.

Lancia's are cars that are not striking at first glance but once you start to get into the details its a masterpiece. It is sad that they are not with us anymore. How would you imagine Lancia to be today?

@@autocurioso3142 love to chat with passionate people! Very good Question, when a lot of cars are so similar.... hmmm relatively compact, perfectly balanced and well finished. That may sound surprising, the last Mazda 3 is not bad, but with a better engine, better road feel and italian design. An Audi A1 Quattro was close to the perception I have of a Lancia. An S3 /A45 AMG but lighter . For a coupe, a Cayman or an Alpine would fit.

I would honestly like Lancia to be reborn as an electric luxury Italian car but with Lancia's good qualities. Like as you mentioned an a45 amg concept which is super fast and luxurious auto but with italian interior and exterior design

He’s correct in that this Supersport is a series 3 but not by the 3C tag. That indicated three carburators.

You are right: you cannot immagine anything comparable to this Flaminia. It often happens with old Lancias, if you take a look to the Aurelia GT, or the Aprilia. Not everyone love Lancia, but at the end if you ask to a real Rally motorsport passionate all over the world to name top ten epic cars in the Rally history, he would mention at least 4 Lancias. What is Lancia today? Forget it, in Italy a lot of people support #savelancia group. Because our most prestigious, historical and best example of the made in Italy is definitely dead (or better, killed by FCA)

Ercole Spadas restyling with chrom surrounded headlamps, new styled wheel cutouts,and a faboulus Kamm tail give this third modell of this line now called "Supersport" a perfect shape from the sideview and in overall look from all sides. It is a true masterpiece!

It is a beautiful cat indeed, the camera cannot transmit its stunning appearance. I thin around $400,000 was the asking price, not sure though
