One duel i was running branded, opp was running endymion pendulum. They go first and ended with a board of selene (all the counters), endymion, odd eyes vortex, and jackal king (2 counters). I topdecked super poly on my turn It's my most memorable 'draw the out' moment and I had the most evil grin on my face like yuri from arc-v.

AKSHUALLY Gishki have a "Super Poly" Ritual that allows you to tribute opponents monsters. BUT since it is a 2010 card it skips your battle phase & also you cannot summon any other monster after that ritual summon. Vendread also have a trap that allows you to tribute opponent monster to summon a Vendread token with same level , but the token has 0 ATK 0 DEF. These are the closest things to Ritual Super Poly

Do you mean more chain blocks? To be honest, I feel like that's why some of the more recent decks are so strong because they can chain block reliably. Can't Ash a card if it gets chain blocked up the wazoo. Chain blocking is a good defensive strategy for hand traps.

From what i heard, Super poly used to be quirky fine card for hero fusion. But as fusion monsters getting more broken over time and Super poly getting more targets, the card becomes so broken today. There was a time when Super poly got banned because of Shaddolls. And i wish it stayed that way, honestly.

Kinda sad how Super Poly was allowed back into the game just because there are better board breakers for the current meta. Sure, other cards can be better for targeting the meta decks, but that doesn't make it any less devastating to have your entire field fused into Chimera/Garura/Starving Venom with no window for response, especially if you're just trying to have fun with rogue/non-meta strategies.

Make the requirement of Extra deck monster less generic, especially for extra deck with arctype name, they should use at least 1 monster from their own arctype to summon. And now we can talking about Ban Maxx "C". . In what way they make money from Maxx "C"? If you see in OCG, there always new control deck released and usually they popular in competitive too. The C give more value too slower control deck because they can play better under Maxx "C" effect, than another kind of deck. I know in TCG, people trying to make everything combo, because wasting time is really good strategy to utilise their time rules.
