If You watch the past episode and use the scroll feature You could actually see a lot of People skip the draft part of the video saddly In any other series I understand but with Master Arena Its a bit weird skipping on It imo,cause This IS what Theyre gonna play,and I think Its neat seeing Their thoughts when building the deck Also this is pure speculation on My part but since We're on like what The 10th Episode of Master Arena now? So, like many early ygo cards, Windstorm of Etaqua is a series of weird translation decisions. (Looking at you, Trunade....). The card's name is an attempt to phonetically translate something from Japanese, that was itself a Japanese attempt to translate something phonetically from American literature. The romaji of the card is "Itakwa no Bōfū", and it is itself an attempt to write "Ithaqua's storm" in Japanese. Ithaqua is one of the great old ones in the expanded universe that other authors (notably August Derleth) created and fleshed out for Lovecraft's stories. Ithaqua's domain is over cold, wind, and cannibalism. Derleth based Ithaqua on the folk tales around the Wendigo and the Yeti (it is supposed to be what inspired those stories in-universe). With that said, there aren't really good translation guides for Lovecraft mythos stuff. The names are intentionally designed to be hard to pronounce with a human mouth because the great old ones are supposed to feel beyond human comprehension. But "i-" (as in bit) "-ta-" (as in talk) "-kwa" (as in the qua in quality) is decently close to the Japanese name. Really wish English translators had had thought enough to have the English name be "Windstorm of Ithaqua" though.

I've pulled 3 Plasmas in Master Duel, including a Foil, and I still have yet to try and use them a single time. (Looks at one of the best Synchros in the entire format) - 4:22 5:13 - Right when these cards came up I paused the video to focus on dueling and took out (clearly a beginner to the strategy) Snake-Eye player with 3 Unifrogs for an FTK. ...Which also happened the game where I FTK'd with -Frog the Jam- -I mean "Toad Slime".

cimo i humbly offer my opinion that not leaving any drafting out of the videos is better, i enjoy the duels but i think something is especially enjoyable about watching you (and to a lesser extent the other players) draft in these videos even compared to other draft content. i don't think there's any real downside since people can skip if they dont enjoy iirc in other vids like 99% of draft was shown but ive seen like 6 cards in your list unaccounted for this time thanks for the vids though

Am I the only one who has noticed that Dark Arm Dragon never shows up during the draft? I've been watching the History of Yugioh, and it was a perfect card to have in between Goat and Edison. I've watched other Yugioh content creators do the Master Draft Arena challenge, but I never see it appear. I'm wondering if it's not even in the draft.

I Can't believe Cimoo just have the Combo that everyone despaired about on the Edison format I mean the moment you saw your opponent scapegoat on end turn well Plasma got semi limited stock that time and Stratos at at 1but you can Run 4Card to search it at least they banned Grinder Golem and Disc Commander to reduce it's power for draw cards it's running 6Draw Card So the deck is really consistent I believe they also semi limit Destiny Draw when you think about it there's so many destiny hero card that got in the ban list around tat time😅

What I've been noticing is that some archerype cards like glads or Six Sams are not picked at all on the edison drafts whats even the point to have them if we are just going to focus on the generic recruiters and Chaos/AbZero engines

@@silviopaolo7282 Six Samurai is a deck that is used in Edison even if it's not tier 1. My proposal basically is remove all the monster fluff: Bazoo, Ghost Destroyer, Chaos Sorc etc.. to let cards actually used in Edison appear more consistently for you to actually consider picking
