I think people don't realize that Joseph is actually cracked at draft formats. Man can pick fast, pick up on synergies early, and knows a breadth of cards that most people don't due to his familiarity with the card pool. Fun set!

He gets a lot of crap for the occasionally terrible decks and misplays he's made, but people underestimate how much worse they'd do in his place. There are better limited players in specific formats, but almost none you could drop into ANY given format and expect them to perform. The man has a breadth of knowledge and experience only rivaled by players that mostly support Yugitube from behind the scenes (IWishTCG, Doubl). Most people would be entirely incapable of competing - and largely winning - in as many different series as Joseph does, let alone being as entertaining in the process.

But Cimo is very underrated in this regard

And Cimo is only good at Goat. He drafts everytime like it is Goat, will even go for the slightest bit of better card alone - even if still ass - rather then a big win condition that only requires he pick up 1 or 2 of a type (REDMD or Fortress) or a single other name (Glads). That slight risk is worth the tremendous payoff of cards that recur or cards that literally search themselves. He doesn't understand Risk vs Reward, just Risk. No offense Cimo if you read this, cool dude just a bit of criticism.

By comparison, MBT will pick a big payoff card over something just slightly better alone such as book of life, and woah he got zombies after! It's not like there are dozens of members in each type that could come up and make an extra body worth something while also banishing a problem card in the opponent's gy. Nah, he should have skipped it. /s

When you grabbed QuickDraw, you should have grabbed Road Warrior as your final synchro since it can sub for any synchron for a synchro

The interesting thing about this episode is that each player’s deck would be the clear worst deck we’ve seen on this show, if not for the other player’s terrible deck providing a contender. Ngl if Cimo ever read these criticism comments in this comment section, some of these are straight up assumptions and over the top explaination on why they think you're a bad player to some extends with the whole argument about how Joseph is over performing with his draft and you're going for some safe with no risk draft I saw them, they seem kinda disrespectful for real, so I want to say that this episode was just hella fun. Joseph was quite a fast thinker with his plays, tryna play around all sorts of stuff. Every single decision seemed to just go to the flow of whatever was going on in the duel, over 35+ turns that first game and all. And the last game was nice, I need to see more of that one guy that just blocks 2 backrows as he gets destroyed and go to the graveyard fr. And in the rematch fashion, we got a W Do want to see more of Master Arena, as Joseph mentioned, totally gonna hop on these videos faster than the Modern YGO videos :U

Can someone help me understand cimo's reticence to draft duplicates? Sure beyond plagues the duplicates weren't very good cards, but coming from mtg draft if the first is fine so is the second almost always. I don't understand why he semeed to dislike duping. Is it down to some ygo vs mtg difference i am not picking up on or is it just a different philosophy? Also am i the only one who would have insta picked reinforcements number 2 over stratos? Seems like a no brainer that if every hero is also a warrior reinforcements into summon the target seems better than stratos? Or am i missing a subtle advantage for stratos?
