I don't know if you know or not but most of the panels are reversible, you don't have to have the the external drive section on the left side with the window. I rotated the front panel on my setup with the external drive bays on the right with my server and all of it's hot-swap-able drive bays then my main system on the left side with the window, with most of the wiring for the main system tucked away on the non-window side. Then mounted two 480 rads on the top and two 120 rad on the rear of the case. The top of the case can pretty much fit whatever size radiator you want. The case is huge though even with two full systems in, but so is the Caselabs. I actually considered Caselabs first but their double wide doesn't support dual systems by default and by the time I configured it for dual systems it was over $1000. I got my W200 for $425 with free shipping from Amazon that's a lot cheaper then the Caselabs. And while the Caselabs does have a slightly better build quality and more feature, the real question is, is it worth paying twice the money. I guess it depends on the person and how much money their willing to spend. I wouldn't go as far as calling it a rip off of a Caselabs case, but does it share similar design feature sure but a lot of product share similar designs. The important thing to realize here is that there is now a more affordable product in this class of cases.

all this; expensive cards, ram, circuit boards, and add water and any leak can be a disaster. I know at sometime it will fail leak and destroy the whole unit. Your cards are built in China with very high tin content. Tin splinters crystals of tin grow and short out your board. The big coolant anti-freeze will react to tin in your circut board. With most cards fans dont turn on till 60 degrees C. An air cooler and fans will do the job nicely with no risk of ruining the whole unit. Liquid cooled is a FAD!

You might not believe it, but in the past, I have experience with a case that was around 4x bigger, 2x wide, 2x high. And it was full - there was a Unix system, dual core - and it used 6000 watt.
@PainIsntExist5 жыл бұрын
A cool case. I like it because it has 5.25 bays. Eg DVD, Aquaero Aquacomputer, extra USB 3.2 for new motherboards A few questions 1. Are all holes in the back plugged (eg PCIe slots)? 2. What thickness you can fit the radiator in the Push & Pull configuration - on top (2x480 / 60 or 80?) - right side (2x480 / 60 or 80?) 3. How much does Thermaltake join in the radiator mounting kit? 4. If I mount the radiator on the right side from the side, the power supply will fit under the bottom plate?

With all the space you can see at 5:45-6:30, I wonder if you could put 2 systems into 1 half with a mirrored layout. Then use the other side for storage, the PSUs and possibly watercooling (pump/reservoir) solutions. air intakes/fan/radiatior mounts on the bottom of the build side and then the top for air out/fans/radiators. Possibly a metal plate to physically seperate the 2 builds would you so desire. I'd probably place the PSUs on the top (towards each end of the case) with watercooling space towards/in the middle and storage+drive spaces below the PSU at the ends of the case.

I look forward to seeing what the final product is like. It looks like it has the potential to do something really cool, but that depends on the time put in. I'm sure there are some pretty cool options for a dual system and water cooling that would make good use of the space. I would probably use it as a personal server and just cram that thing full of drives, and use a server mobo.

Removed the original comment. I was confusing Thermaltake with Antec. After realizing this, I did some more research into this case and ended up buying it. My current setup will have room for 24 drives (20.5 and 4 2.5) and I'm trying to find out if I can order additional rails and drive cages so I can go up to 34 drives (Yes, I can actually use them all). Overall the case is pretty nice, but the magnetic door latches don't work that great. It comes with 4 pins for it, but the manual only shows installing the top pins. After installing all 4 I found out why. The door will not close properly with all 4 pins (2 on each side) installed. BTW, this case has a shipping weight of 69 lbs. and it comes with no fans, so be sure to order some fans if you buy this. I bought 14 fans and have room for about 10 more I think.
@urdaddywingnut78206 жыл бұрын
Since size obviously isn't an issue with this case, it would've been nice to see TT have added a 1" or so 'wet wall' between the two sides for a nicely hidden space to tuck away all the cables a twin system case would have. It would have gone a long way in helping the end user make for 2 builds with much better cable management. Just a humble opinion here

They killed that case with spaces between the fans. That 480 rad up front and more. Caselabs case for less money and slightly less quality, if you consider aluminium-metal builds. You could mod it somehow, but for that price tag you would think for full crazy watercooling support. Oh Thermaltake...
@QuestionmarkX38 жыл бұрын
Honestly, I actually really like this case. If I ever decided to become an independent editor (and also had a large amount of money), I could see myself creating a duel build in where, 1 system was an air cooled server and the 1 other was a beastly editing machine. But one can only dream, right?

Are you able to rotate the front cover and front panel? For example, what if I wanted to have the power buttons and the 5.25" slots etc on the right side instead of the left? I would assume this is possible since this is meant to be a hardcore diy dream case. The Thermaltake bade looks like it can be removed and reversed at 3:36 The location of where I want to put this case could mean that the window is would be facing the wrong way. Two full size ATX builds in a single case is cool and all, but you could probably fit four ITX builds in that thing (each with its own 360 rad too). Also, you could probably jury-rig the rads and fans to workaround the offsets (maybe Dremel out the spacers?). And if would be cool to see the mobo tray hang from the top rail, and attach with a single thumbscrew at the bottom (ala SSD mounts).
@nameinvalid697 жыл бұрын
the only reason to get such case is building 2X dual CPU eATX board... but with all the designed limitation of this cases, it makes more sense to custom build / mod / other brands.
