As soon as we got home from dinner, entered the car porch.. and there stood a red centipede. Me being me, I ran as fast as I could to grab a container to capture it. As I "cupped" the ‘pede, I noticed it was rather lethargic, so I offered it some water. Unfortunately, it did not survive the night. I’m guessing the extreme heat during the afternoon was responsible for this. But yeah, it is now preserved in a little glass container.

I always try to assist insects or spiders I find inside the house and get them safely outside. I’d be nice if more people cared for nature’s little lives like these guys. You also always make me seriously laugh! Lol
