Lillipup being top-tier in speedruns just fills my heart with joy. I've been a fan of its evolutionary line since the games came out and Lillipup is always a fun Mon to raise.

Lillipup and Herdier both blew me away the first time i played the game. Stoutland was effectively a budget snorlax that was easily available. My dumb young ass figured "lillipup and herdier oneshot everything the entire time i had them, stoutland was a big boy but not as cool, so im gonna level up a lillipup just for fun" The lillipup was useless of course, but it was the first baby pokemon i ever got to 100!

On the other hand, I gave a silent cheer when I discovered the new champion was Stoutland, or as I like to call them, *_GRRRR BARK BARK!!_* My Stoutland lass Bonnie served me so well in my White playthrough with her phenomenal Attack, I got her all the way to 100. _Good dog!_

I'm glad you asked! It basically works like Generation 4 Manips, where everyone running on emulator, will get the same RNG seeds as other Emulator users.

@@PulseEffects Wrong. Depends entirely on the emulator used. For example, MelonDS provides a random MAC address that a DS would have at first boot for online play. On the same emulator you can even set a custom MAC address, or use the one your original console uses by dumping your DS firmware and using it in the emulator. The fortunately slowly fading out "badmulator" that is DesMuMe instead only specifically uses 0009BF123456 as MAC address (that is not even a valid Nintendo DS MAC address).

A tool-assisted speedrun done by CasualPokePlayer recently dropped Lillipup for Woobat after the third battle with Cheren by getting it in the cave in which you have 2 battles with one joining forces with Cheren. He reasoned that Woobat has the better movepool by leveling up and that includes its dual STAB moves, and that it alters the AI for certain trainers into not using Fake Out by using Psychic moves. I wonder if that information is helpful for the speedrun community.

Is there a reason why you don't like stock footage? I'd actually love to know your reasoning, as this video was my entry into trying out stock footage for edits and would love feedback! The goal overall was to be silly with the stock footage by putting Pokemon faces on top of the people when possible, but I ran out of time with this one.

I actually adore stock images, specifically of people..they're always so goofy looking and over-expressed (and the water marks all over them make it even funnier somehow), I sometime send them when talking to my friends as reactions to stuff and it never fails to make at least someone crack a smile or chuckle.
