This is not what I want to do. This is what I NEED to do, moving reviews to the new channel: kzbin.info/door/Pi-XOCT88MwgFlkLHzBNhA I've fought the unfair handicaps on the main JANGBRiCKS channel in every way I could and can go no further. Moving the speed builds to their own channel was smooth and well received. The Pure Builds channel has grown into its own wonderful, unique entity. Splitting off the custom city work to its own channel was a huge risk, but was the best big change I've ever made online. I *must* now take the difficult step of moving my most popular type of content to a new, fresh, unbroken channel where I can breathe, the content can flourish on its own merit, and people who want that specific style of video can get precisely what they want with no extra fluff. *All existing JANGBRiCKS content* will live on as will this channel as a catch-all for stuff that doesn't belong on any of the others!

I thought it was only my channel that had problems reaching viewers. Good move to start a new channel Jang; I've subscribed. Let's hope you won't run into the same problems again when your new channel has grown over time. I also see it in my personal KZbin feed/homepage: a lot of videos are mentioned multiple times or a lot of vidoes I'm not interested in keep popping up every time. KZbin is broken if you ask me. They don’t care because they have no incentive to care. 500 hours of video content are uploaded every minute. Even if huge channels get fed up and leave they just don’t care because it’s all a numbers game. Every content creator is replaceable to them.

I don’t want to be crushingly cynical but unless they somehow unionized every single KZbin creator it won’t work. Might never work with this kind of “job” because the barrier for entry is so low there will always be scabs ready to make new content for KZbin. Google has no incentive to make things better when this platform is a so-called dream job with no barrier for entry. JANG isn’t replaceable to us but to KZbin he might as well be a nobody with 1,000 replacements ready to make them money.

Jang, I've been a subscriber since before you hit 100k. You've always been one of the most genuine and honest people on the platform and I support you in this change. I love following your city channel, as that's always been my primary interest. I used to watch every review you did when I was younger and really into Lego, but being honest, I just haven't had the time in the past several years as life catches up to me. I'll still make time for the city updates of course :P. I've watched closely as the Jangbricks viewership has decreased in the past few years, and I completely sympathize with you after all the erroneous hurdles KZbin and others put in your way. Much respect. My only request/suggestion for new content would be branching out (idk new channel or here) to more lego building-focused videos. I'm talking building tips, strategies, organization, how-to videos, (for example like a video how to build Lego trees-- showcasing different tree variants and tips in your excellent studio) and just more stuff along those lines. I know one of your most popular videos back in the day was Dust vs. Lego, and I really believe there is a huge audience for more of that type of stuff. After all, you are a fabulous builder. While your in-depth reviews are great for those looking to purchase Lego, they've gotten slightly boring for folks like myself who merely watch them for entertainment. If you were to spend less time making more accelerated reviews and more time on mocs, city stuff, and sharing all your tips/insight I think that could be a change many of us would appreciate. Who knows, maybe the review viewership would increase to favoring shorter and more concise videos. I personally preferred the QuickBricks format and I was saddened to see that channel fade. Regardless, thank you for being so forthcoming with us about all of the changes, and I'm confident you will make the right decision going forward. Keep up the hard work and confidence.
