Honestly i find that jumping then doing kiri's gamma quirk helps a lot so far nobody expects the delay in the attack so you can use it to immediately hit someone out of their i frames if you time it right

Probably one of the most balanced characters in the game. Hard to use, but really good if you know what you’re doing and you coordinate with your teammates. Many have been saying he’s bad, and I also felt that initially, but after like 4 days of playing almost exclusively Kirishima, I think he just takes some getting used to

Surprised that level 7 heal was never popped in that last character fight. That probably would've made the smallest difference needed to win. on top of that. had you done that and popped speed to run up that building, you probably couldve shoulder checked him a again. The capacity to win was there, just not all the tools were used.

As a Kirishima main I strongly agree that he is not a low tier if you lvl up his beta quirk his damage is insanely strong compared to other characters. His defense along with his damage makes him one of the best characters for 1v1 and 1v3

No range and no mobility is rly bad tho, especially with those Bakugos sniping you from half the map away, dealing crazy dmg even through armor buff. Also cant escape at all to hide and heal.

That's what I'm saying! He needs a buff for sure since the game is primarily ranged based. Ida is fine since he can actually get away if needed, but Rock Boy is dead in the water if he runs

His quirk is about being a slower, more powerful Iida. He's an armored truck. Think about it like this: map out your engagements so you barely stop moving. You run up to someone, hit them with your smash, then keep running to swerve back around into them with another ability. Never run straight into someone shooting at you unless they're very close; that's when you use a punch and primary to get away and re-engage as they chase you or you find a sight line on them. Using cards with him is more necessary than others because of that lack of range, but once you're used to his variety of lateral movement he's actually really broken in 1v1s from the natural super armor on abilities.

This is mostly true and can vouch for it. It's hard to catch breaks from fights sometimes, but since they expect you to be on top of them rather than run away, sometimes the oportunities exist. I'd say green and purple cards are your best friends. Anything that helps you reload Beta and gamma or keep you fighting longer.

Hi person who made the tier list here. Giving Globku credit he did make it very convincing that Kirishima shouldn't be low..... but lets critique the gameplay hehe 10:49 Literally use the R2 Quirk on still shigaraki and missed most of his hits lmao. I ain't dealing with all of that, when I can just shoot someone once and get more damage even if the shot is off a little. 3:40 kirishima wishes he could catch a todoroki in his dreams I'll admit his B Quirk is pretty amazing, but it better to use it to down someone or if they above you for the knockback, the problem is if the player gets hit with it and they fly away (for example bakugo at 4:19) he could just run away and out range you lmao. since the meta right now is pretty much (better range higher chance of winner fights) that's like 75% of the cast right now lmao. 5:21 in Typhoon zone, or building like areas (fire zone etc) what Kirishima going to do unless you sneak attack someone, If I see you i'm running and using my Alpha on you. and since he ain't got the best movement in the air just attack him from range. Match 3: just showed me the skill gap between Globku and many other players today. GOOD video Kirishima not the worst I guess, but he gameplan ain't for me, and I think everyone can be viable with teamwork but out of the pool of characters, he was the weakest for me.

I agree, since this game is dominated by range rn he’s just outta play atm. Range hits don’t stagger anyway soo that part of his special is useless. It’s like he’s not bad per say, it’s just this meta of shoto, baku, deku is destroying everyone but kirishima especially.

I haven’t seen him that way at all , easy af to kill and when I play him I get wrecked. His moves all knock people away and the one where most people get ranged attacks he charges at them and even on hit you can drop the hit .

I main kiri most of the time and my favorite thing is that you can combo all of his stuff together by predicting the invincibility frames, also sometimes the punch hits through walls but idk which level it's hit box gets large enough for this i just find it funny when i think i miss a character and i punch a building and see the damage pop up from the inside it

I don't think it's too soon. He's solid A but people like Deku, Bakugo or Shigaraki when met with an equal pilot have inherent advantages, that's why they're S. But, he's less vulnerable than someone like Kaminari who is more of a B tier glass cannon that tires out easily.

You can use youre beta quark for vertical mobility. And something you didnt mention is that his special bquark not only gives super armor is gives him %40 damage reduction so hes especially tanky during that time

I wouldn't say he's terrible, but the meta to just snipe is very against him. Not to mention, aiming for body shots is simply easier than cool down management and positioning that kirishima requires. Jus kinda winning on Bakugo until nerf then I'll b happy to learn iida and kirishima

can someone tell me why sometimes the colored cards level me up when im that color and other times they never do? are they different cards like skill & level up or do they stop leveling you up after a certain amount of time? shits confusing and irritating when i have a full inventory of that color ive been picking up thinking its levelling me

It depends on the type of quirk the card is, so if it’s an alpha quirk yellow card and your deku has maxed his alpha quirk then it won’t level up anymore. Same applies to the quirk cards in your inventory. They have to be the same “type” - which is pretty annoying when trying to level up abilities and constantly finding a different type of the same colour 😂

There's a hack atm that removes CDs and gives permanent access to Plus Ultra. I have a clip of Cementoss using it to machine gun fire his abilities and PU multiple times in under a minute. I've also seen a Toga use it to slash dash infinitely. Perhaps the Todoroki at 3:40 was using that as well as he didn't seem to have a CD on his dash.

The Toga most likely isn't hacking. Her beta skill gets extended every time she hits someone with it, and it can go on forever if she keeps hitting someone

I’m ngl as kirishima fan no.1 even tho they won’t give me him i think personally use jump gamma max that out guys I promise it’s worth it even tho glob said the punch works for him I legit use it to get to higher places or punch through walls and his primary is there to either escape or get into battle this is how my kirishima is I max out gamma and then level a and b at the same time if you knockback the opponent if you time it correct you can jump up and gamma then they are force to eat the damage

He's still definitely low tier in my opinion. I main him and Iida and if you're playing against a character that can easily exploit your weakness (Like Deku, Bakugo, Todoroki, All might, etc.) and your opponent knows how to use the character then youre basically screwed. I dont think he needs a buff though, I think the characters that can run away and hit you for half your health from across the map need a nerf.

@@ktm19981 He’s a hard character to fight 1 vs 1 but it depends on the terrain he’s fighting in. Open field is tough but an area like Typhoon or Fire Dome he’ll have a field day with you. Certainly not D tier, he has high health & does big damage

Any character can be good if you learn how to play and utilize them right. Kirishima is one of the weaker characters but that doesn't mean he's bad.

Nah, here he is coping. Kirishima is kinda bad in this game. Sure you can win and play him good and be good with the character, but he lacks the things to be at least A tier. Ranged characters with big mobility is what is strong in this game. There are some meta breaker characters like lida that doesn't fall in that archetype but still makes his way to A tier. Kirishima lacks mobility, ranged attacks, and yes, even his "defense" isn't that good. In a game that hp and shield matters A LOT a character based on tanking damage and not negating it is pretty bad. I would say he is the second worst character in the game with the hand lady. Don't get me wrong, you can play any character and still succeed, but that's skills not the character being good.
