Hayden Hurst had some highlights at OTAs this week for the Chargers and Jim Harbaugh must be taking notice of this. Check out Daniel Popper's article because he also talks about Quentin Johnston! www.nytimes.com/athletic/5528...
Breaking news the Los Angeles Chargers signed Alex Leatherwood the Las Vegas Raiders first round pick in 2021. The LT out of Alabama will give the chargers OL help and competition for Trey Pipkins and Jamaree Salyer at the RG and RT spots.
Jesse Minter was Mic'd Up at Chargers OTAs before training camp and he kept wanting to be in nickel formation. I thought it would be a good idea to talk about Derwin James, Alohi Gilman, AJ Finley, JT Woods, Akeem Dent, Jalyn Phillips, and the battle at the SS and FS positions for the Chargers in training camp and preseason.
Chargers Day 1 of OTAs has begun and here are all the highlights and takeaways you need to know. Asante Samuel Jr., Junior Colson, Ladd McConkey, Kristian Fulton, and Joe Alt are all important guys to note.
The Chargers signed 21 UDFA after the 2024 NFL Draft and they were: Karsen Barnhart, Casey Bauman, Luke Benson, Akeem Dent, Jaelen Gill, Thomas Harper, Zach Heins, Savion Jackson, Jeremiah Jean-Baptiste, Leon Johnson, Jaylen Johnson, Robert Kennedy, Micheal Mason, Tre'Mon Morris-Brash, Tyler McLellan, Willis Patrick, Jalyn Phillips, Tyler Smith, Zamari Walton, Luquay Washington, Bucky Williams.
The Chargers drafted Joe Alt, Ladd McConkey, Junior Colson, Justin Eboigbe, Tarheeb Still, Cam Hart, Kimani Vidal, Brenden Rice, and Cornelius Johnson.
Brenden Rice was drafted to the Chargers in the 7th round this is the steal of the draft potentially! Cornelius Johnson and Kimani Vidal are also drafted in the 6th and 7th round but also keep an eye out for UDFA signings. The Chargers drafted Cam Hart in the 5th round, Chargers drafted Tarheeb Still in the 5th round and the Chargers drafted Justin Eboigbe from Alabama with the 4th round pick on day 3 of the 2024 NFL Draft. Here is a film breakdown scouting report and analysis of him in Jesse Minter and Jim Harbaugh's defense with Khalil Mack, Joey Bosa, and Tuli Tuipulotu.
The Chargers selected Junior Colson in the 3rd round of the 2024 NFL Draft after drafting Ladd McConkey in the 2nd round and Joe Alt in the 1st round. Who will Jim Harbaugh and Joe Hortiz draft on day 3? Need to get some CB help for sure, Khyree Jackson?
Joe Alt was drafted at 5th overall in the 2024 nfl draft by the Chargers and Jim Harbaugh and Joe Hortiz REALLY want to establish the run and protect Justin Herbert. My question is, can Joe Alt catch the football still, he played TE in high school...
J.K. Dobbins signs to the Chargers and JK Dobbins signing to the Los Angeles Chargers means more to me than you think. What does this mean for Isaiah Spiller and Elijah Dotson? Will the Chargers draft a RB in the 2024 NFL Draft or in UDFA?
Jim Harbaugh has now officially hired Jesse Minter, Greg Roman, Andy Bischoff, NaVorro Bowman, Marcus Brady, Steve Clinkscale, Shane Day, Mike Devlin, Mike Elston, Chris Gould, Sanjay Lal, Rick Minter, Robert Muschamp, Chris O'Leary, Dylan Roney, Marc Trestman, and Ryan Ficken.

Saw the title and Im saying Hurst before watching video post.?. Hayden Hurst is the most unpredictable elusive TE next to Kelce ,. Been seeing many highlights thru out his career and it is the look of him not having that appeal of a Baller on why teams keep passing him on due to young eye candy type of TEs teams feel fits their profile. Hurst is awesome and already know, he will be our new Papunu, if ya a true Charger fan, you know the drink shake TD. Great topic of a needle in our haystack!

He has always been really good to me , especially when he was on the Ravens. He seemed to be just as good as Mark Andrews when they played together. I’m really hoping for Parham to have a break out year and become an elite TE, he could become a nightmare for defenses.

Relax, is common to give Vets and those who know the Playbook well, extra Time off. No wanna wear down ya stars unnecessarily. At this point currently u would rather bring others up to speed and get to know more about the rooks and unknowns. U already know what The Bus and JK bring. Colson already knows the scheme very well. This way we can evaluate the others better and see what they bring. Makes it more fair, keeps from overworking our players. Keeps injuries down and provides morale and rest. Let's us try out some new groupings. This is the part of the season that we can experiment with. Let's players try new positions and let's Coaches experiment with new plays or formations, new techniques and new lineups. It's a learning experience for all involved as Coach Har puts his stamp on the Team. Exciting Times. I Love it! #BoltUp ⚡️

There’s rumors of Tee Higgins being on the trade block, but I think the odds of the Chargers spending a bunch of money on him are low, especially since we let our other big money receivers walk.

Simple. New regime isn't spending ANY money to resign an offbrand Melvin Gordon with the amount of fumble issues he has. Also has ZERO advantage or positive traits in the scheme fit they are installing. Dobbins and Edwards do. I wanted to keep ekeler bc I really like him, been reliable for a while, strong as fuck, but unless he was 2 inches taller and 20 pounds heavier he was also getting cut regardless. I think this back room is much better without those two

No, Dobbins and edwards there to RUN the new system. Roman ran the same thing with the same back room in Baltimore. Never said ekeler was worth the money and he was reliable in the role that he played in the offense. Having Kelley on the team rn would be a hindrance and a misnomer to not draft vidal
@nwigchert10
@nwigchert10 26 күн бұрын
@@10Or106 the same team that decided they didn't want either for whatever reason. Not saying Kelley great just wanted him to get a fair shot for rb1. Drafting another RB was also confusing tho 🤷🏼‍♂️ I mean shit we had the cap space for Henry but didn't pursue apparently 🤦🏼‍♂️😅

Jaimes isn't going to take Zion's job, I'm not sure Jaimes will even make the team. Hurst was a 1st round pick. The Ravens drafted him ahead of both Lamar Jackson and Mark Andrews in 2018, and he was a 25 year old rookie. He'll be 31 this season. I'm hoping he can be a competent, serviceable TE, but he's not going to be elite, Dissly neither. They can both contribute to a dynamic and diverse passing attack though.
Kimani Vidal Has An Important Hidden Trait.
