This cheap fishing reel surprised me! Handing M1 review

great tip man even the perfect reels some times have some sort of "weakness" . i am currently looking around for a new eging reel and i was wondering if having a heavier drag lets say 10kg instead of a lighter one like 5kg worsens the light drag performance of the reel. I am asking that because in eging you need a really light drag in order to not risk loosing any squid and most of the eging reels these days come with a huge amount of drag force (usually 10kg) way more than needed

I don't do eging but this reel has a decent drag from what I tested. Likely will work for your applications too.

I picked just up 2 in 500 size for $23 off AtoZ each. I like them. But a little bit big for a 500 seams more like a 1000.for the $$ cant beat it.wish it hade a shallow spool.

Yes, they are a bigger than say Daiwa LT series reels.

Yes, you will need plenty of backing.

how is the reel compared to the tegmen?

It doesn't. Tegmen is all about it being as light as possible; this one isn't.

I bought one of these reels back in June, I paid £5.87 for it, £7.04 by the time they added tax. I have to admit I've not yet used it, I just keep it in the back of the cupboard as a spare in case it's needed. No great financial pain to do this when it cost so little in the first place.

Hey, when i click the link in description the price says 12 euros for the reel, then i log in to my account and the price jumps tuo 25 euros. Every time i scroll items on aliexpress not logged in the price is low but then i log in and price doubles or triples.... is there a hack you can get the "original" price? thanks

Likely you see lower prices as a "new member". The only hack for that is to create a new account.
