Great review. This one has a cool look and feel and responsive specs. I wish we could get an ARM-based Chromebook Plus because even though my Mediatek Lenovo Chromebook is much slower, I love the fanless design, low running temperature, and long battery life of ARM Chromebooks.

Using it for nearly a year, got it when it was just released. On german amazon there is a discount currently you can get it for 250 eur. I was looking for a lot of options in this price range, but chose this one since it is the best price to performance ratio, also the battery is really good and the laptop is very smooth.

By the way the touchpad is also really well made and better than most laptops that cost 5 times more, can compare it to macbook touchpad isn't better or worse.

@@omonighoprogressoghenetejiri Lenovo - brighter screen and nicer feel in terms of build quality. ASUS better performance which makes sense given its running an i5 12th gen. Both good machines but i wanted the performance over the nicer feel. my only slight dissapoitment and its not s ahow stopper is if the ASUS had a slighter brighter screen

Been a Chromebook user since lockdown. Will never go back to a windows laptop again. So much bloat with windows these days. Loved my first Chromebook with an i3 which outperformed my acer i5 laptop with general usage and tasks

Plastics is no an issue for me. I think chromebooks need the x-factor or fun factor and plastics makes it light. Got the Spin 714 which has been the best chromebook by many accounts. But it was way too business like for me. Lacks the x- factor. For one it's quite heavy. Ehh... Not much was said about the "plus" in the review.

Thanks for the review. My only qualm with your review is that I think you underestimate the capacity of Chromebooks. With exception of advanced image, video, and audio editing, I can do just about anything I need to do on my Chromebook.

i agree. and i love my chromebook. HOWEVER :( ... i find it impossible to serve as 'tech host' on a 200+ person zoom meeting and often have to use my pixel 8 pro to handle that portion of my life. Otherwise, chromebooks rock.

​@@gastroalchemy4499yeah there's quite a mix of products out with the same CX34 name. Mine is a CX3402CBA-WS388T-GR and is an i3 chip with a touch screen
