Imagine getting a Graffiti Artist to paint some huge jaws and teeth on the Crusher with a wild multi colored design on the uprights and the rest of it, maybe give it a name like (The Smasher) or something, plus a full on audio system behind it pumping out all types of music. Hey Silas, it seems like these days a guy has to have some pretty thick skin, to put up with ignorant people. A lot of people expect a person to jump at whatever they say, I'm sure sorry you have to put up with that nonsense. You answered a question that I have had about if your crusher would be able to crush a tractor wheel, that was really awesome to see! Can you please tell me how you are able to send so many tires out in all of your scrap loads? Around here in southern Wisconsin if a person hauls a car in with tires on it either they turn them around and send you home still loaded or they dock you so much a ton. Because of that I've had hundreds of tires at one time stacked around the house because it's cost me $5 per tires to dispose of them at the city landfill. It would be nice to be able to send my tires with my scrap cars.

I can’t believe some of those cars were crushed? They are a lot newer than mine. I drive my trucks until they get towed to a junkyard after they are used up. Usually after thirty years old. Some of them had new looking paint with shiny tail light lenses? What happened to those? I heard one person whom I know say when they get tired of a car? They trade it in for something else? Or is it they suffer a catastrophic mechanical repair & decide it’s not worth fixing? I have replaced engines & transmissions on all my vehicles. Except my brand new truck that is 18 years old & has 26,000 miles on it. It looks as new as the day I bought it.

It's a shame to have to scrap that straight-8 but the number of collectors for that era of vehicles has to have shrunk drastically in the last decade. Plus, I imagine the parts availability for rebuilding is another big problem, no thanks to the economy killing COVID Lockdown, war on fossil fuels, etc.

There's no shortage of frames because there are companies that make frames that accept different engine and transmission combinations and are ready for modern suspension components.
