The stuff with Jinx and Silco is not totally manipulation. The “everyone betrays us” is something Silco really believes because of his experience with Vander and now Silco is kinda projecting that belief into Jinx. When he saw Jinx as a kid and she was feeling betrayed by Vi, Silco could not helped himself from Empathizing with what jinx was going through.

episode 8 - Vi actually betrays Jinx to the council. Silco was right.

I usually don't comment on youtube but I've been so invested in this series that I kinda got addicted to reaction videos and your videoes top them all. The amount of detail you're able to pick up on your first watch is crazy and the emotion that you're feeling is very genuine and kind. Keep doing what you're doing. It's very refreshing to watch someone just as caught up by this show as myself and whos able to reflect so greatly. Can't wait for your reaction for next act!

I think with this finale, the writers just wanted to remind us that the "h" in "Arcane" stands for "happiness".

A hint as to what Jinx means to Silco was right there all the way back in Episode 4. In his office, sitting on the desk right front and centre on the screen was a cup that was clearly decorated by Powder/Jinx when she was younger. Straight up classic proud parent vibes when they pin their child's artwork on the fridge or on their desk at work type of vibes. 😁😁

One of the funnier details in the finale that almost no one mentions or picks up on is when SIlco say "the boy didn't even hagle" which Ekko said back in episode 1, which to me signifies that Jayce never compromises on his own ideals. The Layers.

At 22:09 when you see Ekko with his stopwatch and he and Jinx "turn into kids," he is remembering how they were when they played this game as children, but at that time she was using paintballs instead of real ammo.

I can't state it often enough: The artistic choices are incredibly well made. One of my favourites is Viktor being able to walk. It's the inverse of what we saw in the backflash. Little Viktor, small boat, walking right, can't catch up, during the day. Adult Viktor, big boat (in the background), running left, is now faster than the boat, during nighttime.

The show doesn't make this clear at all, but all the mines in the undercity are owned by wealthy Piltover families. They have a vested interest in keeping order and control there since their fortunes are tied to those mines. But that doesn't mean they are all that interested in treating the people who live down there very well. They just need them to be compliant enough to serve as a useful work force.

Not only the mines, but all the fabrics that spill to much toxic waste is in the undercity. So basically, every job that needs fisical labor is made by the people of zaun.

The Bat-like Man you think is attractive is Scar. Scar is also A Dad if you notice that he is holding his baby while in the safe haven.

8:07 Yes. 22:31 It was a callback to a game they played as kids. 40:27 fun fact about this frame. It's the first time Mel isn't standing above someone else in frame. She usually always centered or on top. Shows the real power dynamic.

ah, the mechanical butterfly bombs - something that Jinx was working on throughout Act 2 because the Firelights screwed up her mission in episode 4.

"Why do they give a shit if they are their own country" if you remember earlier they mentioned making the gauntlets for the "Mining colonies in the fissures". It's probably economic.

The problem is this, even irl every new technology will always be made into a weapon eventually. Only if and when humanity no longer sees a need for weapons, will this stop, and unfortunately as long humanity exist, we will see a need for weapons.

It’s unfortunate but you can love someone and still be toxic for them which is Jinx and Silco’s relationship. He’s not a good parent by any means and no one should rlly expect him to as he’s a literal kingpin but I do think he tried to the best of his abilities with her when considering his own trauma as well as Jinx’s. They both are very damaged people who found comfort in each other. He tried to help her with what helped him (the baptism scene) and to be fair it did work until she found out Vi was back 😅 one of my favorite little details is that he had an ashtray and mug covered in her little doodles that he still used.
@emanuellandrade338722 сағат бұрын
What season 2 made it clear is that jinx always saw Silco as her wise dad. Not only does she misses him a lot, but it's obvious that she went to him a lot searching for some advice when she as in any kind of distress or insecurity.
