Watching this show again from the beginning and watching someone's first impressions of certain characters it is really a good feelings especially if the reaction is this good. Pausing certain parts to put your thoughts after a a second watch is not a bad thing, this is the kind of show that was made to be watched multiple times, especially season 2.

The art direction in Arcane is insane btw. For example: The last scene where we see Powders eye is a reference to the famous painting "The Fallen Angel". There are probably full analysis on every single episode, because there are like 1000 easter eggs, artistic/other references in each of them. The animation studio, Fortiche, went above and beyond for every single scene. Not a single thing in both seasons was motion captured by the way! They animated everything my hand, which makes it even more impressive, because it looks more life-like than most motion captured productions (at least to me). You are in for a treat! :D

The world that this show takes place is called Runeterra. This show only really focuses on the cities of Zaun and Piltover. There is a lot of magic in the world outside of this setting. Due to Himmerdinger's experience with magic, these cities are trying to keep magic out of their societies. But you will soon see it's harder said than done.

So many things I want to say. I am afraid not even a river of words could describe what I felt after watching these tragic events. „Vi, it worked! Did you see me? My monkey bomb finally worked!” Her happy, lively eyes, the excitement in her voice when she finally managed to make her gadgets work. She has saved her sister, her friends, and her father. She has become their savior, their hero; she is finally worthy of respect… or so she thought, until she realized her irreversible mistake ruined everything. In the blink of an eye, Powder’s grin turned into an icy shiver creeping down her neck. An indescribable anguish twisting her sister’s face, the disappointment in her voice as she whispers, „You did this?” couldn’t possibly sound any worse. Powder has moved her gaze downwards. Her eyebrows frowning in disbelief. She finally understood-Vander lying on a dirt-stained pavement, his giant body motionless. Lifeless, dead. „Why? Why did you do this?” A volcano of emotions she couldn't even name, a mountain of fiery needles, each of them pinching her little heart. Her thoughts turning into tears as her voice cracks in regret, „I didn’t… I was saving you.” And then… she noticed Claggor’s blood-stained goggles. The only thing that’s left of a boy she considered her brother. „I only wanted to help.” Her worst nightmares became reality... and it was her own doing. „I told you to stay away!” Despite everything, she felt a single emotion stronger than anything else. Hope. „Please. Please!” Her hopeful eyes, wet both from the rain and tears, seek forgiveness from Violet. Suddenly, she feels a burning sensation on her cheek. There is no consolation, only pain. No forgiveness, only condemnation. Her hope but a distant memory, replaced by the only thing she can think of: „Why did you leave me?” Her rosy, dust-stained cheeks trapped in an iron clench. Void of softness, void of love. „Because you are a jinx. Do you hear me? Mylo was right!” Not even a thousand blades could hurt her more than a couple of words she was always afraid to hear. Yet, she still believes in redemption. A single cry, a desperate plea. „No. No. No. No. Violet. Please!” „Violet, please!” No answer to her plea; there’s only silence. Her pillar, her haven, her everything-she’s walking away. „Vi, come back. Please, come back! Please, Violet. I need you, please!” The spasms of sorrow devouring every fiber of her being, a merciless distress turning her soul into dust. Yet, for some reason, she still believes. Her hope comes back from the dead, rising like a phoenix born of ashes and flames: „Violet. Violet, please!” Yet not even a phoenix could save her. She’s forsaken, abandoned, alone. The deafening loneliness disappears as she hears the sound of footsteps: „Hello, little girl. Where is your sister?” An unusually friendly voice picks her up from the ground. Her eyes meet with the eyes of a stranger. Most would see a vile man, yet all she can see is her own reflection-a lonely man hiding behind a mask of an evil criminal, secretly desperate for love and companionship. She throws herself at a man. Her fragile, bony arms wrapped around him like a vise as she mutters, „She left me.” The man, clearly dazzled by what he could only describe as unexpected, looks at the body of another man he used to call his brother before his treacherous act turned him into an enemy. A brittle yet angry voice of a little girl brought him back to reality: „She is not my sister anymore.” This… feeling. This… realization. It hit him like a bag of heavy bricks-the girl... she is just like me. She understands my pain. He offered her something he always wanted but never received-a loving gesture. His gentle touch, the softness in his voice. A bittersweet, yet much-needed reminder of what she’s lost. „It’s okay.” His comforting whisper sounding like the sweetest melody. „We will show them. We will show them all.” A shimmer of hope, an ounce of innocence-it’s all useless. There is no hope; there’s only anger. Powder is no more. There is only Jinx.

Arcane is the ONLY show that I feel like was an actual 10/10 show. Breaking Bad got very close, but Arcane hits everything perfectly. There isn't a single mis-cast voice role, animation is industry defining, the storytelling is the best I've ever seen in a series. It has no flaws.
