There is a max of "add projectile", in fact there's a maximum of "augments" - eventually objectives stop providing augments and instead give you the same as level-ups. "Burst" is good in early game, but stops being effective if you get low enough cooldown that you're firing continuously. It's better for Astral Orb.

@@OHRyePlays They do, I don't remember the number of waves but I noticed around level 120 or so - so it does take quite a while!
