honestly, on a river with a small pot and it goes bet raise 3b 4b, its obvious someone at least has the second nuts. so it makes complete sense to fold. the check check before river doesnt make sense unless they have 44s or JJs since as the preflop agressor you 3b and only one call. no AKQ on the table so its trying to get value.

If Andy said he is never bluffing and only raises hands close to the nuts in these spots; What does he have? With all the action he is basicaly saying he has 10's or jacks. Since you have the 10's, it has to be jacks. Im not saying I could have folded it, because that requires you think about it and analyse it before calling. But once you do that, it does make sense.

It's just we are used to using the term as you said, with Ace high or marginal hands. Having said that, folding third nuts is not a viable strategy and it doesn't make him a better player than others, you must have some extensive knowledge of how the villain plays to let that go.
