I think he barely understood the effects of most of the bullets, causing the order and timing of his bullet placement to be poor. I think he also may have misunderstood how overkill worked, just trying to do the most damage with the last bullet rather than stacking bullets to heavily damage them after they die. Except a couple unlucky rounds, the lowest my overkill was was around 30. Also not sure if he noticed he could go backwards on the map, leaving behind some free cards.
