When the title mentioned unofficial clients, my first thought was to Prism Launcher, PolyMC, MultiMC which are by far my favourite launchers to exist, especially Prism Launcher. They allow you to quickly install fabric, forge, quilt and also quickly search for mods and install them, along with resource packs, and allow for separate instances with different mods. I completely forgot Lunar Client, Badlion Client even existed lol

Dude, this video was amazing. I think this is easily one of the top 3 Minecraft documentary channels, now I would put you on top but it kind of comes down to preference/ style. I clicked on this video expecting some semi-interesting info and probably a mid video. But dude i was blown away. Your incorporation of skits/short animated sequences to tell the story was definitely new for me, and I think it made the video a lot more enjoyable. I mean, there's only so much you can do with words and a dramatic cut away sequence. Also I think your grasp on the sound design was pretty good as well, helping to support the great visuals. Your personality also shined through this, a lot of other documentary youtubers try to act more as an omnipotent being than a real person, but you showed your personality through the visuals and how you spoke. Yeah all together this was a great watch, and its refreshing to see a new creator pump out something actually unique and entertaining in its own way. Great job! Side note: thought this would be funny to mention. I clicked on your other recent video (How Jschlatt Keeps Saving Minecraft), to see how the video production on that one was, and uh lets just say it was pretty good, because I got hooked for 6 minutes and then remembered i was supposed to be analyzing the video production lmao.

now talk about how sodium other popular fabric mods absolutely destroyed every client, and that we have 'ViaVersions Plus' fabric mod and allows us to join any Minecraft server of any Minecraft version, even bedrock servers is supported, and it even has block hitting when joining servers in 1.8 within the latest version of Minecraft. Their performance is wayy better and it does not limit players to PvP.

not entirely true. they _don't_ auto-download. however, they do _bundle_ the libraries that they use. very different things. being bundled means that it is contained _within the mod,_ so it doesn't download anything extra online. however what modcore & essentials does is they are downloaded when the user _launches the game._ the only other library I am aware of which does this is owo-lib, and people are not happy with the fact it does that.

I believe that essential is the better choice (even though one essential coin $1.25) because of the multiplayer being as simple as bedrock. Me and my friends use essential because it’s really easy to do without making a hole in your firewall or paying someone $20,000 a month for a server

Badlions made a pretty big comeback in the 1.8 community. Mostly bedwars but it spread a bit to other game modes as well. It was popularized like 2 years ago because top ranked bedwars players started using it. The ranked bedwars community has gotten way bigger than it was then. Big KZbinrs in the scene use it like dewier and qbedwars which made a lot of people go back to it. I’ve been using blc since early 2023 because a KZbinr who I was friends with switched to it and so did everyone else in that community. It’s still good and I prefer more than other clients. Good video

This video was amazing! Although some clients didn't get mentioned here I think you did a great job incorporating all the mainstream ones. For example if you talked about Factions client such as Orbit or Falcun, I don't think you'd get as many people who have heard of them. I was using Lunar but switched to Orbit since it has a lot of useful Factions features all built into it that you can't even get as mods which is pretty nice. Overall AMAZING video though and can't wait for the next one.

The sale at the beginning would make sense if it was two separate 25% cuts. One for someone purchasing the cosmetic and one for someone using the code. So if someone used your code on someone else's cosmetic you'd both get 25%. This way you're incentivized to promote your own cosmetics so you get 50% while not disparaging others cosmetics because you could still get 25% from your code. Also I'm biased towards Badlion because because they have SkyblockAddons for Hypixel Skyblock. Lunar is PVP focused and not my jam. So I don't see them as direct competitors anymore. I see them as use cases.

14:10 if that is the system is the same as essential, you should be able to remove a cosmetitic by clicking on it again in the menu, toggling it off. There should also be a trash button somewhere under your player model that clears all cosmetics iirc.
