We must remember, even if Minmi isn't strong on its own with its mechanics, Minmi is still going to be a relatively tanky small tier dinosaur. It'll weight anywhere between 300 to 400 Kilograms with a defense bonus thanks to it's tough hide, putting it in a good weight zone to fend off Herrera, Austro, Mono, and Troodon. Like they said it's getting venom resistance, and I'd hazard a guess it'll have some amazing Bleed resistance too. Most important of all it has a very low silhouette, making it far harder to spot for medium and large carnivores. Even though Dryosaurus isn't the most viable dinosaur in the Isle, it is still permitted good speed, agility, and a *small* stature . And yet as i've played Dryo I've seem to have a higher success rate for growing than any other Dinosaur that I have played. Whether it be Deinosuchus or Omni. Another huge bonus to being a small creature, you reach adulthood so much faster, which means less time being in a vulnerable state unlike Deino, Stego, Diablo, Carno, and Cera.

I think in the future, they could add a endgame or reason for tutorial picture this when you first booted up the game, you have the option to play into the tutorial level, which is like a laboratory and you’re a dinosaur within the laboratory and like the scientist are trying to test how good you are surviving and at the end of the tutorial could give you an adjective to escape and after you do, it’ll put you into the server selection screen that would be cool

Btw the isles parasaurolophus is getting a weight change so in the sales it’s 3ish tons. A new specimen has been found that was 13 short tons and 8 to 9 tons in long tons. So a average para would be 5 to 7 tons more lickly 6 tons. So it should be roughly smaller then trex

I find the people who complain about the small teirs are the people who play stego with five of their buddies so they can just play the game like a fighting game once they are fully grown. Having just finished a several hour long session as a herrera, there is a rush you can get a little goblin creature when a 4 fully grown ceratos in one or more packs pass under your tree and you sit there thinking to yourself "how long till my food runs out? do i have the stamina to run or should i wait for them to move on? What happens if I get caught trying to run?" Same with galli or others I have tried on the smaller end. While dibbles is still my main till trike drops, there are reasons to play and exist in the game outside of just playing the dino fighting game part of the game, like the challenge of playing something small and avoiding/dragging down kicking and screaming something far larger than you. Also ease of survival makes it easier to group up with your buddies.

As far as I know, it only turns on the “Press E to Eat or drink” and other immediate prompts, it doesn’t really provide any information about, for example, what to do about vomit sickness, how to clot bleeding, what migration/patrol zones mean, etc.

Well its not like the Devs leave new players 'completely' clueless, most the time when they introduce a new thing or new class in the trailer for its release they'll show what mechanic does what, what salt lick or the sanctuaries are for, etc. Its just younger players dont catch on quickly.

I actually don't really think mini is a good tutorial animal. Yes it's got a lot of mechanics, but it can't really fight. It's also slow, which will make it a pain to explore the map as a newcomer. Being a generalist is also a problem. New players will not know what advantages it has against other playables. A normal playable that has one or two outstanding abilities would be much easier and straightforward for the newcomer to rely on. Finally, it just doesn't have any excitement going on unless they make burrowing really really good. The true best intro playable is gallimimus for its speed. It's easy to grow, new players will generally know to run from most things, and it's a really fun playable overall. Gallimimus doesn't do great in fighting but it isn't defenseless either.

This is why i prefer PoT over the isle. It's way more friendly for players in general, either new or old, TI is cool in a way you get more immersed and each dinosaurs (in everima) has a drastically different gameplay from another. But in PoT, you have a tutorial that explain you everything, death isn't as stupidly punishing as the isle and you got a generally way more fun way to play. TI feels just so boring right now, even in everima, nothing ever happens and when something happen it's not very enjoyable. When you travel you gotta sit 5 minute for 2 minute of walking, when you encounter player they either flee or kill you instantly, and when a fair fight is ingaged you gotta then stop and sit for at least 10 minutes to regain stam and health. Like I get it's immersive but it feels so empty next to the trailer, the isle really need to finally be finished after almost 10 years in development. Dev is to slow. Maybe some day it'll be my favorite but as of right now I'd rather even play BoB than TI.
