I don't think Gojo is actually alive I think it's Sukuna seeing a manifestation as this is his impending death as he is waving between life and death, in the end losing to Gojo through his students. Also someone hit me with the theory that this is an elaborate fake out and it's actually Yuta and Gojo's shared ancestor (who probably also had Six Eyes) and Sukuna killed them in the past. Nah, it's just Sukuna hallucinating, the ghost is his brother (Yuji) which he killed who has come back to through Kenny's plan, we'll get a flashback of Sukuna's past then cut back to reality with Sukuna dead ripped apart and demonic Yuji busy chowing down that Sukussy, with the reveal that Yuji is the merger the whole time. Sukuna: Domain E- Gojo: DOMAIN EXPANSION Yuji and Todo get swapped with Crows before Gojo's domain expands, revealing a new Domain design as he has returned via sacrificing one of his Six eyes. The "moon" is replaced with a giant blue eye in a Crescent shape, the dark space replaced with the blue skies and the Surehit expands the enemy's limbs when they move an inch, since by moving they would be moving an infinite distance instead of a few inches...

Not everyone can synergize with boogie woogie like Yuji can. His striking sense and paradoxically empty headed focus make him perfect for working with todo. He doesn’t need to think, he just reacts. Yujis also the only character we’ve ever seen experience boogie woogie with 0 disorientation mid combat. Yujji knows which openings he’s getting, very few have the close quarters battle sense to keep up with that. Those who fight with more range or aoe in their kit also lead to kinks in how you can swap them effectively. Yuta may be able to keep up but Rika would likely turn into a hazard. Maki is difficult to swap with bc the only CE that would potentially let that happen is what’s in SSK, and that’s just as likely to snatch it from her hand as it is to take her with it, tho since she got out of the domain I assume boogie woogie can work on her by extension of something else. Yuji and todo together is likely more effective than if you added ino kusakabe and Choso as well. I could be underselling the battle Iq of the others but tbh the more you think when you boogie woogie the more confused you get. Not everyone can fight with pure instinct

His arc was complete and it would be bad for the story for him to return at this point. Imo, what Sukuna is seeing is some sort of manifestation as he might be close to death's door.

The only way Megumi to survive is to Sukuna get a better body which is the thing Kenjaki created, but who would defeat that? It has to be Gojo teamed up w/ Yuji, Todo and maybe some students. I still don't think Gojo will be the one to kill him, but Yuji last power up (his domain at the right timing, a window opened his sensei).

It's allowed others to come to the front. They would have found a way to defeat the merger the same way they are defeating Sukuna now. I just think it's kind of cheap to go through all that and then bring Gojo back. It's an easy way out and bad writing imo. He might as well bring back Higuruma and everyone else he killed off then.

I think this js a case where the character has alredy died and he hasn’t notice yet, Sukuna thinks he can still open his domain, but probably the damage he took upon his soul was enough to vanish him and he is just seeing Gojo because of that. I really don’t think the word “Ghost” is used just as a title, not knowing gege. Also another theory is that Todo swapped a crow with Gojo’s body which Uiui retrieved to make Sukuna doubt for a second and give Yuji a perfect open

Something I always thought about is that when Gojo says he would win, I always wondered if he meant hed win a war, or his ideas against sukuna would prevail. If both Kenjaku and Sukuna are dead, the entire Tengen plot line was pointless. Uraume is still alive also. So I’d say he/she will rescue Sukuna and sacrifice themselves.
