Could've been a misprint since it still looks like Wylde. It's not too uncharacteristic of the creators, since they'd do stuff like misallocate the headlights on Reverb in their test animations and swap locations of specs in the Acceleracers garage.

I think you overlooked the situation with Kurt and Markie! Kurt found out about the shady business deal and back out, but Markie was too stubborn to quit. If Kurt did told what he knows to his brother, Markie would’ve not go to prison, but if that information was breached, Kurt would’ve been ruined. So he didn’t say anything and his brother got 2 years. If Wylde wanted Tork’s car: Hollowback, why did he create Flathead Fury? I think he wanted a similar car from his brother’s Battle Spec and prove the Metal Maniacs who’s leader. During the Junk Realm, it was Wydle’s anger and rage from Kurt’s taunting, that got him wild up and when he got swung out of the track by a wrecking ball, he will always blame Kurt. After Kurt won the Junk Realm, Wydle got captured by the Drones and Kurt was shocked when his brother didn’t come out from the realm.

If Kurt told his brother what he knows, it will keep out of prison, but will take the fall for leaking the information to him. If that did happen, Markie would not have joined the Metal Maniacs and Kurt’s would mostly likely be hurted by his own decisions. If he did go prison Markie would have visited him, while mobbing about what did save his brother. He need time to gather up all pieces and find another street racing team, other them the Metal Maniacs and the Teku.
