I'm bracing myself for the dislikes and comments, but I don't understand why you guys are all making a big over them doing this for a living. If they were wasting materials or treating them inhumanely it might be one thing - but they made a huge emphasis on the fact that they use every part of each gator they trap - as nuisance trappers. People call them in when gators are causing problems and they handle it (although I'm sure they also go seeking them out as well). It's my belief that animals are here on this Earth to sustain us, and we should respect them and avoid harming them unnecessarily. But if we responsibly use them then we are using them for their intended purpose. Obviously one can always debate where the line is as to "intended purpose" - be it food, decoration, education (displays), etc. but there's no need to disparage them for an honest living.

No way its my belief that animals are here to sustain us too! I think gators intended purpose is displays, actually no it must have something to do with fashion. Anyway thats what i think because after all us humans are above all animals in terms of intelligence. Like imagine asking a gator whats 5+3 he will be like im outa here LMAO 🤣

Shelley Berry you are pretty ignorant. Gators are not an endangered species and there are laws preventing overhunting. The Everglades national park in Florida is so big it’s almost the size of Puerto Rico and it’s filled with gators. Florida is not running out of gators. These people are actually paid by the state to hunt gators because they go to residential areas and are a danger to people and pets. Instead of letting the gator go to waste after killing it they use every part of it - meat, skin, and bones. Only a fool finds something wrong with this.
