This Course Layout Surprised Me! (Shadow Lakes Club) - 18 Hole by Hole Vlog

Not gonna lie I didn't think much of this course when teeing off but I must say I was pleasantly surprised by Shadow Lakes Club in Brentwood. The layout was great and it was green in all the right places. The 16th hole is probably up there as one of the coolest holes in the bay area!

It’s so cool seeing you play all the courses I’ve been playing for years! I lived in Concord for many years and Shadow Lakes was one of my favorites. Cheap, challenging but fair. If you play well there, you shoot a good score. At The Bridges on the other hand, you can play lights out and still shoot a 90.

Love this course, the greens are really fun and it's pretty wide open.

I agree! I did play it on a weekday afternoon though and the pace was good. I heard on weekends it can get backed up because of some of the tough holes.

Used to play here a lot many years ago. Cant beat $35 with cart for weekend twilight back then. Too bad Roddy Ranch down the road shut down. It was one of my favorite courses.
