I think the Paul is actually Paul McCartney! In the 60s beatle fans often had buttons that were like "I love Paul" "I love John" etc. So that may even give us a hint about the age of the kit

About the question why Crayola stopped including stuff like the rub-on transfer stickers: Let's be honest, they probable have a lot of analysts do the math and the tests to figure out just about how cheap they can go and how much stuff they can remove from sets before customers get upset about it. Gonna guess they figured out that if they market their stuff for young children they can get away with removing a lot of the nice things (like those transfer stickers) and substituting it with low quality shit as long as the cheap stuff still allows little Bobby to still vaguely make the stuff advertised on the box.

It’s 3am, I’ve made myself cup noodles and this video showed up at the perfect time. Also, I had the exact same reaction to the transfers working so well! It is a little funny how we react nowadays to things that do what they’re supposed to do, especially if it’s done well, such as this kit. We’re just too use to all the cheap garbage quality items we consume nowadays and these vintage items really reminds us of what use to be. Super cool video! Thank you for sharing

Hullo Art Friends, I believe this goes to show that Crayola used to be a company that produced quality art supplies for kids! Now they are merely a spoke in the conglomerate wheel of greed! Companies wishing to cash in on a brand name that had a good following or a great reputation and now their only concern is with how much money they can make and not concerned with the quality of the products they produce.
