I wondered if this would be too big on a X-T50, looking at your first image holding it on a XM5, clearly the answer is no!

What camera body is that? Looks neat!

@@hellni79 5.6!?….doesn’t work like that if that’s what you are insinuating 😁.
@hellni792 ай бұрын
@@dingoeatswolf3663 it exactly work like that… small sensor, worse dynamic range and the crop making you lose depth of field because of distance from the subject… you’ll shoot and never get what you would get with a 24-80 2.8 on a full frame, but a 5.6.
@dingoeatswolf36632 ай бұрын
@@hellni79 do you know how they work out the maths for widest aperture? Less depth does not mean the lens is not a f2.8. Apsc sensor is not that much larger by the way for any noticeable difference. You prefer the Fuji, then go for it. Want to make a noticeable difference, then go full frame or larger, otherwise much of a muchness and I much prefer a smaller setup with a camera that has image and lens stability.

@@dingoeatswolf3663 yeah take a 2.8 lens use it on full frame then start cropping and stepping away from the subject and tell me you are still using it as it is 2.8, noise goes up and of course depth of field is fucked. Anyone can use anything because the result is what matters but stop comparing equivalent focal lenght lenses (which is correct) without mentioning the aperture is being affected too, because depth of field is an actual factor in the creation of an image and you are not getting a 24-80 f2.8 DoF, so yes the new 16-55 is 410g and the 12-40 380g, f4 vs f5.6 in the actual images you are getting 🥱

Very disappointed with this, the telescoping lens barrel…👎….Pass!
