I've not cruised nearly as much as you Gentlemen have, but I've done about 20 cruises beginning in 2008. I've cruised most of the major lines and I agree with you 100% about the food. Celebrity does, indeed, have the best food. As far as my favorite cruise line is concerned, it's a toss-up between Celebrity and Princess. It really doesn't matter too much, though, about which "brand" of ship I'm on, as long as I'm on a ship. And Ben, I really enjoy your jokes. And gentlemen, please keep these videos coming. We sailed The Edge last October/ November, Garden grill was our favourite specialty restaurant. Dined there twice. Mac and cheese, beans, ribeye steak, seafood kebabs were absolutely delicious. We will be on Edge again in May. Saw lots of familiar crew faces in your videos, can’t wait to see them again. Wonderful crew!

i have been watching obsessively for the last month and one thing i noticed and appreciated greatly is how you edit around eating! i have misophonia, where you react by fight or flight to certain sounds, and eating/smacking lips together is one of my worst triggers - but your videos are so accessible! so thank you so much ❤

We sailed on the Celebrity Beyond last summer to the ABC islands. It was an incredible trip and the food was amazing! Ben.. I wish you would of gotten the Porterhouse steak at the Rooftop Grill. It was one of the best things I ate. Cafe al Bacio is a great place to hang out, get coffee, snacks, and people watch. Celebrity is an amazing line!

So funny that I came across this channel by accident, when myself and my partner were contemplating whether or not we'd enjoy a cruise. Now, we still haven't decided, probably leaning towards not doing a cruise - But, we now both love Ben and David videos and funnily enough met a friend out recently who is going on a cruise, I said you have to check out Ben and David. Totally agree. Celebrity is hard to beat. The worst was our 10 day cruise out of Athens in October on the HAL Oosterdam. We've never seen a more pitiful buffet. Almost non existing. Seating was impossible. As a sidenote, also got shortchanged $240 on an excursion. This was our 10th cruise and first time on HAL. Never again. We'll stick with Celebrity and Norwegian. We thoroughly enjoy your channel . Well done!

Agreed about Celebrity dining. We almost always book in Aqua Class just to be able to eat in Blu. And my two most interesting dining experiences were in Q-sine and Let Petit Chef, both on Celebrity vessels. Close to that was Wonderland on Royal Caribbean.

I like feta and watermelon, or feta and beetroot, yum. We mainly sail Princess, and the food is on par with Celebrity, which we've also sailed.

We had a very similar experience in the roof garden. Our weather turned just as we were about to have our main course but we had to abandon it all as it was so windy all the glasses were smashed off the table. We had blankets round us to keep us dry but like you it was an experience we wouldn’t have missed. We got a full refund and a free meal so treated very well x

Hey Ben and David. Happy Sunday. Super Bowl Sunday 🏈 for us in the states. Was on the Edge last July to Alaska and must admit among Carnival, Norwegian, Royal , MSC , Princess too long ago in 1978 ; Celebrity food in 1992 and 2024 was the best. Only line that every single soup buffet, MDR or specialty was always seasoned and HOT 😋😋😋. The Cafe Baccio was dangerously 😂. I don’t know how I missed the trifle bar🤷🏻‍♀️. Not even once 😪. Great vid guys. Looking forward to sailing Celebrity again. Hoping the Ascent or Excel. Have a great week 🤗

Come to the state fair of Texas. They fry everything. Ice cream Oreos, one year they even had fried butter.. A lump of butter dipped in batter and fried. Now, if that doesn’t give you a heart attack nothing well happy sailing.

Celebrity has the best MDR food and the variety of breads was overwhelming, the other sweet baked goods were delicious also and the service was great. Celebrity has won me over👍

I am going with my sister for back to back Australia and New Zealand cruise on The Edge in early March. These videos have been much appreciated, we are getting a Port Hole Balcony cabin as we have heard a lot of negative reviews about temperature control in the Infinite Balconies and wanted to be able to enjoy a bit of separation if one wants to sit out and the other to nap. Have you been in one of these cabins and what do you think of them? 23 nights. Then the Indian Pacific to Perth.

That sounds like a good cabin choice, except that I think they are very much forward, so take your seasickness beds with you!

Agree, Celebrity is the best of the main stream lines, with Blu being an extra step above. Highly recommend Aqua Class just for access to Blu. Did take an Oceania cruise this past summer and they've got Celebrity beat.

Obviously everything is done on a massive scale. But all those desserts, in all those different venues. I always assumed they’re frozen and just thawed out. But they kept saying this and that was fresh baked! And we saw the bread baker. Incredible

I've always considered Celebrity Cruise a "premium" cruise line. I would line them up with Holland of America, Princess, and possibly Disney. One level above Royal Caribbean, Carnival, NCL, and MSC. How do you compare Celebrity meals to HoA and Princess?

I'm glad to hear Celebrity has pulled its socks up regarding food quality, because we saw it decline quite severely and it's put us off booking again. Their pricing is very high, and the premium drinks package (which we always get) is hugely expensive. We are considering HAL and Princess as lines we've enjoyed before but haven't tried for a while.

I took my first Celebrity cruise a couple of years ago. I though the food was OK. I think Disney's is slightly better. I'll be back on Celebrity in November to give the food another try and I'm feeling more optimistic after seeing your video.

I was on the Celebrity Solstice for an Alaska cruise in July 2024. The food in the MDR was at its best ok and usually less than. Except for the Indian food the buffet was just bad. It was my first Celebrity cruise and a great disappointment as far as food goes. Since it was an Alaska cruise during prime Alaska sailing time the ship was packed to the gills which might have affected the quality of the food. The food on the Virgin Voyages Valiant Lady which I sailed on in February 2024 was much much better.
