If you're still thinking of trying out different mods, I think you should try out CrazyCraft. CrazyCraft is a mod pack that is said to take Minecraft into the next level. Meaning that there's more weapons, materials, and even new mobs and dimensions to travel into. And the best part? I know there’s this cool mod you should check out, I believe it’s called Dragon Block C. Basically you can fly on your own without any wings or stuff, shoot giant energy balls that do massive explosions damage to the map and stuff.
