To get reverse you can use an ordinary car starter moter with a chain and sprockets on the rear axle, run it straight off the battery and an on,off switch on the dash.

Patrick Bateman much harder to find though. And I am stopping at 400hp as even that would be sketchy for the weight of the car. Plus a lot more aftermarket support for the hayabusa engine

Patrick Bateman the hp is pretty close to what most compact cars have, the torque is lower though. But you really don’t need to go 300kph either so when it’s geared down you have a monster!

It'll be using the ninja transmission I'd imagine (haven't finished the video yet), and bike transmissions are all sequential, yea. That's why he was pushing it backwards, they don't have reverse

Bikes have a sequential gearbox, and most motorcycle engine are all one unit, the gearbox clutch, and cylinders are built in one unit.

Coolest thing I've seen this week. Curious that a ZX-10R engine was chosen over a ZX-14R engine. Guessing the engine was previously tuned for MR12, which is why it was so rich. Any thought to using a paddle shifter with a quickshifter? Nice job. Any performance metrics recorded?

We don't plan on keeping livestreams up much longer than 12-24 hours and even then they'll be kept unlisted so only if you scroll in your subscription feed will you find it. That first one was just a test run but in the future we'll be sure to schedule them at least 24 hours ahead of time so you can be notified when we go live!! :D Cheers man, thanks for the support.

Just because that looks a bit too non-stock, have a little look at the Project Binky series by Bad Obsession Motorsport. Toyota Celica GT4 engine and running gear into a mini. For funsies. You wouldn't believe it to look at it from the outside (and it's not quite finished yet) but sooooo much of it has been custom fabricated by them. Ultimate sleeper! Would be awesome to see a back to back with this when it's done. Shame the Atlantic seems to be in the way :(

No mention was made of the motorcycle the engine is from, or the capacity of the engine. I'm a bit of a Kawasaki nut, the instrument cluster looks like it came out of a Z1000, but they make more like 130 HP.

Those are intakes concern me.. thinking out loud. If you want some ram effect.. and highly debatable at those speeds.. you need scoops.. not those things. I'm even concerned those things may be hindering due to Venturi effect.

Looks like great fun. Outstandingly good built mini👍❤. There are many engine options to consider for the mini, but I like motor bike engine's in mini's (the sound, rev's, & shifter). A H2R engine would be mental in a mini.
