My mistake! The video I saw showed the builder of the Miata saying the engine was from a **Gallardo GT3**, not a Huracan GT3 as I said here. I've heard from others the owner was also telling the same lie as the builder so. Details. Point is, it wasn't true!

The Garage Active r32 and r33 are the most amazing GTRs in the world. Literally every single exterior panel on the r32 is carbon. They do amazing work.

Old Jaguars and some Alfa Romeos had inboard disc brakes on irs rear suspension, lots of super old- school hotrod builds used the Jag irs specifically for extra toughness and looks.

Mate that R33 was just so epic! I miss my 33, sold it about 11 years ago insanely under priced as the US had not opened imports then. It'll be worth $100k now easy, I sold it for $30k 😩😩 Mint video bro, do another like this and Ill sub haha (liked at least) 🤩🤟

There's a couple of 2JZ Skylines in NZ, as well as S15s and S14s and and 70's Celica with 2JZ and 1UZ etc. They swap everything over here...

You should have spent more time on the 1GZ! I'm scratch building a Shelby 427 Cobra for a 1GZ and we need see more in videos. LOL. References are thin and I'm a total newbie to the JDM engines and haven't found experienced JDM people very responsive to inquiries.

Sadly mostly all of the Sema builds are garage queens. They are there because of sponsors. I've challenged some KZbin builders that claim it's "built for the track" a few years ago and not a single one has seen a track day yet.

I'm tired of this 🐃💩 line that gets repeated over and over in some form or another "we say we want it, they build it, then we don't buy it." That is just absolute 🐃💩, and disengenuous as people saying this always somehow forget to mention that when the car is out it gets priced way out of the reach of those who'd want to buy it, often pricing it into competition with better vehicles like if I'm going to pay Porsche money? Why not go with a Porsche and still get a better deal/value? Then even in the rare instances the cars msrp is sensible, they do boneheaded things like limited to 100 to 500 units, or the dealerships take it upon themselves to right this "wrong" and sell it for double or triple. But somehow it's on us for not buying. There are two types of buyers out there in the face of that kind of nonsense. Those decide they want to go the diddy route, go in drop their pants, grqb their ankles and take it, then come out with a car. Then there are those who just go buy something else like a Mustang.

Any RB-swapped Miatas? Or even LS-swapped Miatas? Or K-swapped MR-2’s or K-swapped NSX’s are MY FAVOURITE BUILDS…. Oh and ANYTHING 2JZ in a M3/5 6-speed is CHOICE. If you can’t buy ‘em….. BUILD ‘EM.. the I.C.E is now in its TWILIGHT YEARS IM AFRAID…. Only ‘Specific Interest models/swaps’ are ‘my thing’ these days…. Anything 3-pedals is STILL VALID THO….

Am I the only one that doesn't get excited by Ricers at all? When he was next to the Rolls talking about the r33 I was looking at thr Rollie the whole time, wanted to see thr inside and know more. When i see a skyline im just turned off. As a tuner ricers might be something, but if you're just a car person and driving fanatic like me, then BMW is most exciting, because they have legit interiours and beautiful exteriors, unlike korean cars which look and are cheaply made.

Sad that Cobra has a crappy Nissan motor, even if it's a replica, it has no value anymore. You'd be lucky to get scrap metal value for it 💯. SEMA is the biggest show of trash and unfinished vehicles on the planet, it's like walking around in a shiny clean junkyard 😂

13:25 as a 1st gen Celica owner this is the ugliest Celica I’ve seen 😄 the motor is far too forward, interior is ass, flares are horrible, wheels too big. I like to say I respect people’s own builds but I don’t know where the guy was going with this one.

The flares and body definitely left something to be desired, I'll give it that. Engine and suspension setup looked (at least on the surface) pretty solid though. Tough to tell at a show like this.
