Out of all the ministers i have ever heard talk on any interview... I think this is the most clearly spoken minister and one who has stated facts and truth. I am very sure Muzala wasnt paid because the minister has admitted and he has also admitted using facts the entire country is experiencing, problem mu Zambia Tulalaba bwangu, our problem is that we all love ourselves and are easy to quickly group with those that share our lazy factless ideologies. And in most cases we miss and deny truth that is literally in our faces. Most of the problems we are facing as a nation begin first with us as a people, We need to change the way we approach things. And only those that have crossed this path will see that the minister has addressed this issue professionally. Omg.

I have a few concerns with what the minister has said. To begin with, when Muzala broke his silence and said he wasn't paid; the minister came out and said he had proof the payment was made. Secondly, the took a step further justifying this claim by adding on and saying Muzala was also benefiting from the Government with his ZNS job and free housing etc. Why is the minister now changing his statement by saying "we are aware some people haven't been paid but doesn't mean we wont pay them, they should be patient" ? this disqualifies everything else he has said leading up to what he is saying today. Furthermore, why should you tell the athletes that the Government is going thru turmoil (drought) and so because of this they cant be paid ? why should that be his problem? If thats the case the ministers should be the first people to set an example by not getting their salaries and bonuses.

Mmmm even in sports these guys are promissory notes. They come up with allowances they can not fulfill? And this Hon is saying they need to be appreciated for coming up with incentive which they can not honour?
